Last chance to back Compatibility

Today is the last day to back Compatibility

We're 60% funded with 12 hours to go.

My mother and my aunt wanted to help, somehow. So I leave you with this:

Hey friends,

We just launched a Kickstarter for Compatibility. (apologies to any of you who have already received an email about this)

It's only the first few days and we're already 9% funded.

It's about a Facebook engineer who creates an algorithm which predicts romantic compatibility between Facebook users. So imagine checking Facebook one day and seeing this:

We're making a short version as the first step to financing the feature film. (this is how Whiplash was made, and look how well that turned out)

Thank you so much and please share the page on Facebook and Twitter.

Many, many thanks.

Tribeca Tickets and Showtimes

My short film, The Evolution of a Gen-X Music Purchaser, is premiering at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York.

They've posted their film guide. You can find showtimes, ticket information and theatre information for the four screenings in New York below.

Tickets go on sale March 31st for American Express card members.

The next thing.

A quick update on 4 of a Kind (now known as Dead Peasants).

I’m still working on drafts of the script from great notes given to me not only by Chris Ashworth but Jim Klock who was set to produce and possibly direct. We’ve had a few setbacks, but we’re all still moving forward with it.

What I want to announce is the next project:

It’s a project I’ve been thinking about for close to a year now. It’s based upon this blog post I wrote in 2010. It tells the story of one man’s travels from the 90s til now with milestones in his life tied to way he’s able to consume music.

It’s a short film I hope to crowd fund. I’ll be launching that Kickstarter campaign in the next month or so. Right now I’m still figuring out how much we need to raise.

While we didn’t make it last time, I’m confident we’ll have something to show at the end of this run.

You can read more about it at www.genxmp.com. Subscribe to the the mailing list and like us on Facebook.
