ABOUT THE FILM

Focusing on the psychological and humanistic side of turning into a zombie, the film follows Janna as she adjusts to her life as a zombie. After being separated from her girlfriend, Janna reminisces of her more peaceful, human life, while struggling to stay with the reality of her decaying physical and mental state.

Oh man, no way!? We have a Facebook!

So, Now I'm a Zombie is a Northwestern University film within the Senior Directing Sequence, created and produced all by students.

FUNDRAISING

Because the film is entirely student-run, the costs of making the film is fundraised by us directly. Aside from a small budget from school, we as a crew have been fundraising through many other means, such as selling concessions for football games and other fundraising programs. However, even with that money, it is not enough to fund the film. To not sacrifice the quality of the film, we have put are all into the project - and we need your help!

Any donation, even if it's only a few dollars, means so much to us. We sincerely appreciate any help we can get and hope to make the best film possible!

Risks and challenges

With the filming now wrapped, moving forward, the challenge now is to bring together all the elements of the film, such as cutting together the footage to make sure everything makes chronological sense, making sure the special effects will work with what we have shot, and possibly re-shooting anything we may have missed in between. Another challenge is sending out the film to festivals, to have the best possible product to present while making sure everyone working on the film is able to present their vision as well.
