Nightwing: The Series is a non-profit, 3 part mini-series that follows the adventures of Batman's ex-sidekick, Robin. After a falling out with his former mentor, Dick Grayson aka Robin leaves Gotham City in order to create his own identity in the city of Bludhaven. The series will delve a bit into Nightwing's origins and flesh out the character. We hope to pull in new fans as well as appease and excite existing fans.

In July 2012 Danny Shepherd and Jeremy Le shot, edited, and, released a Nightwing fan film by the name of Batman: Nightwing, in only three days. Currently it has reached almost one million views! After watching the original we promised we wouldn't make a sequel, unless we could make it look like a huge Hollywood production. And we got our chance.
A local studio here in Las Vegas, MG Studio has offered to help produce a web series with us focusing on Nightwing and a few other DC Universe characters!
MG Studio has already provided us with a ton of resources to make this new Fan series happen! The only problem is it's not enough to bring this new vision for a very cinematic and theatrical film to life.
We will primarily be spending the funds on high quality costumes and props as well as being able to gain locations that are otherwise unattainable.

Here are our current stretch goals. We will be releasing an update next week to highlight rewards that will be included. Check updates for more details!
- $40,000 - We build a custom Batman suit and cameo the Dark Knight himself in our series! Arial helicopters and better lighting equipment. We'll also double the budget we are putting into Nightwing's costume.
- $60,000 - We'll hire a professional stunt team AND stunt coordinator in order to create even better fight/action sequences. Better combat equipment and stunt props. More practical in-camera effects (real explosions etc.) and professional quality CGI work.
- $80,000 - We'll shoot on a RED Epic camera (The same camera used for the Hobbit) and shoot on location in cities like New York, Pittsburg, Chicago, and/or Los Angeles.

The reason we want to do this is because we are huge fans of Nightwing and the Batman universe! This is completely non-profit. No one has done a truly great Nightwing film/series/ etc. So this is our chance to finally give this character an awesome series! So please help us out, Kickstarter!!!!
Risks and challenges
The biggest challenges we face right now is scheduling. In the first Nightwing there were only two people working on it, over a course of three days. The new series will see at least 30 or more people on set, all of which will not be getting paid for their time. Everyone on set is working completely for free because we all love the character and see the potential to make something great! But we have been planning it out and hopefully we should be able to start shooting shortly after we receive funding!
