Reward Update, Darkroom Print - Five of Five
This is the final print (of five) available to choose from in the last two pledge categories.
This is the east side of Star Island, the most rugged and wild side where giant waves roll across great expanses of open ocean to bash against these ledges during the storms of winter. Sometimes the air becomes so cold that the sea’s evaporation freezes instantly, and this arctic sea smoke wafts white across the sea’s face, while spray from the crashing waves freezes against the land.
“Shoals - Rocks and Water 14” is another of my images that’s in the permanent collection of the North Carolina Museum of Art, and it will be personally hand-printed in my traditional darkroom on gelatin silver paper, signed, dated and numbered. A gallery print.
There are only five days left of the Kickstarter which ends on May 1 in the wee hours of the morning. This isn’t a lot of time to raise the last funds needed and, of course, if I don’t raise these last funds, the campaign fails and no money or gifts are exchanged. It’s definitely white-knuckle time for me, and for the creation of this music.
I hope I don’t say it too much, but I am so very, very grateful to all of you who have contributed to this humble endeavor. Thank you!
During this last push, if there is anything you can think of to promote the campaign during these last few days, it would also be very much appreciated!
Warm regards, Alex
