We believe Fairfield is special in part because it places a powerful drama within a genre world. The result is a fresh take – a zombie movie with a soul. There are a lot of zombie related films and television shows today but most of them rely on tired stereotypes and derivative stories. Fairfield is an outlier on the zombie genre - it is a new story using zombies to explore a new perspective. With your help we can bring that story to life.
Every dollar donated will go towards the shooting budget of Fairfield, which will begin shooting later this summer just outside of Philadelphia. We require funds to pay for, among other things, lighting rentals, housing costs, compensation for the cast and crew, food, and our rock-star make-up team from Gotham FX.
With the team and knowledge base at our disposal we will be able to take advantage of our budget in a way that will make this low budget feature look, sound, and feel like a million dollar film. We believe that with the support of the Kickstarter community we can create a product that exceeds expectations and, most importantly, entertains.
Thank you for your time and we hope you will consider donating.

Risks and challenges
Our job does not end when principle photography wraps. Our approach differs from our peers in the independent film world in that we understand that every film is a business venture from the outset. Our education at New York University as well as our practical experience in the field have helped us look at Fairfield from both an artistic and business perspective. However, that doesn’t mean that we have sacrificed our artistic integrity in crafting this film. We are, at all times, mindful of both perspectives.
This project was created with distribution in mind and we feel confident that our attention to detail in this aspect of our preparation will provide the greatest opportunity that you will be able to see Fairfield in a theater near you.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
