Example of gameplay (Spanish)
Iron League: Black Stadium is a tactical game utilizing miniatures and interactive scenery for action-packed game play.
Configure your team with giant machines called Iron Mechs with interchangeable arms and weapons and warriors: the hordes of Claws, the heavy Zimman, your mechanic to repair your mechs. You can recruit mercenaries on your team.
Use drums full of gas in your favor, use walls to protect your warriors and be careful of fire squares. Throw the enemy into the air, or throw them at burning drum. Shoot down the Iron Mech pilots and steal their mechs, or destroy them.
With 4 game Modes: Match, Death Match, Arena and Cooperative. Nuke Tracker is a Expansion full Co-op supplementary to Iron League:Black Stadium.
Match: a tactical and ferocious sports game. Your team can be repaired after each goal.
Death Match: a competitive, destructive combat, if you survive you win. If your team dies, they cannot regenerate.
Arena: Inspired by MOBA style video games, if you destroy 2 enemy black holes or steal your enemy's plasma ball, you win. If your team dies, they can regenerate.
Coop: Survive waves of attacking enemies.
The game consists of 4 teams.
Each team contains 3 Iron Mechs, 3 Claws , 1 Zimman Warrior and 1 Mechanic. Iron Mechs are controlled by pilots with special abilities, but can be taken over by any warrior (mechanics are not warriors). If a warrior takes control of an Iron Mech, he loses his abilities, armor, and special weapons. So, he becomes a pilot but with limitations. There are also 4 mercenaries that can be hired during the game.
You will have powerful war machines called Iron Mechs. With these destruction machines, you can attack other Mechs and their pilots. Any fighter in play can take control of an unmanned Mech for maximum devastation.
You can choose Iron mech miniatures, Older Iron Mechs and New Iron Mechs. New Iron Mechs is a optional purchase.
These new Iron mechs miniatures will have amazing details and these will be made of PVC. They won´t have the versatility to be able to exchange weapons and arms during the game, but we´ ll change the Iron sheet to choose weapons and we´ll add tokens to mark when we lose an arm or a weapon is destroyed.
Iron Mechs can choose diferent weapons: Heavy machine gun called "The Silencer", Zim cannon, Beam , Light Machine Gun or Shield.
- Number of deployment points required to put the unit in the START zone.
- Number of actions the unit has each turn.
- Number of squares the unit can move each turn by spending 1 action.
- Range of the unit when it attacks.
- Life points: If an Iron Mech receives 6 points of damage, it will be destroyed. Damage tokens are placed according to the number of damage points received. Two additional life points if the Mech has a Shield.
- Number of attack dice used by the unit when attacking (both in melee and distance) If there are modifiers you will have to add them to this base roll.
- Number of defense dice that the unit uses when defending (both in melee and distance) If there are modifiers you will have to add them to this base roll.
- Pilot card assignment
- Iron Mech identification.
Special warriors, known simply as Claws, attack as a horde causing heavy damage to anything they encounter, including the Iron Mechs.
They jump onto the backs of the Mechs and rip off pieces of armor and can even attack a pilot.Do not let them get too close to your machines!
Zimman warriors have a plasma cannons, they are your heavy infantry and will gladly burn your enemy to a crisp.
With diferents attacks like Energy cannon or Zim cannon , They can move or even damage Mechs. Warriors are slow due to their heavy armor, but they have good firepower.
Mechanics are tasked with dousing flames and repairing damaged Iron Mechs.
They are a key element in your team, protect them. Although it is forbidden to kill them, they often fall first on the battlefield.
Drums full of gasoline are hazardous. They can be thrown at opponents. When thrown, they will explode causing 1 damage point as well as generate a fire. If there are two drums in the same box, when 1 drum explodes, the other might explode. Any drum within 1 square distance might explode, too.
When a drum explodes, fire appears. It affects the whole square. If there is a gasoline drum in a space on fire it can explode, all fighters and Mechs in the fire square will be on fire immediately.
Walls provide cover to all warriors, giving them +1 defense die against attacks from a distance. Each wall has 2 life points. They can be attacked and destroyed.
A Plasma Ball is used in Match and Arena modes and can be used as a weapon. If your team receives a hit, they can fall over.
There are also 4 mercenaries that can be hired during the game: The sisters Lola & Leah, Zac "Boom Boom" Harker and Leo "Rebel" Sampson.
Each mercenary has different special abilities. The assassin sisters, Lola and Leah, have mimetic suits and the ability to kill Mech pilots. Zac, with his heavy armor, is fireproof and carries a heavy shotgun and Leo carries a bazooka and uses walls for cover so well that he is nearly untouchable when under cover (+2 defense dice).
(Mercenary miniatures are a work in progress.)
The laws of war forbid the murder of defenseless pilots or mechanics. If broken, the referee will launch counter-measures against the transgressor.
If you kill pilots or mechanics, the Referee will immediately appear and your opponent will manage the referee.
When an Iron Mech is leaning forward or bent over, that means it is unmanned and can be stolen. This option is only available for Iron Mechs miniatures.
During Iron League different types of cards are used:
Action cards help you in the game.
Pilot cards give you skills.
Cooperative cards (only used in cooperative mode)
Character cards have information about your team's warriors.
Equipment mini cards: Yo get scrap in the game (money) and you can buy equipment cards or bribe the referee.
Damage mini cards and serious damage mini cards: After being attacked, your opponent rolls the damage dice and you take the appropriate number of damage or serious damage min cards and assign them to the damaged Mech.
Iron League has 2 types of custom dice:
- Attack-defense dice: you´ll use these for attack, defense, to steal plasma ball, and other actions.
- damage dice: you´ll use these to determine damage to mechs and for pilot attacks.

Hello! I am Nacho González designer of Iron League:Black Stadium and Nuke Tracker.
Juegorama is my start up created in August of 2014.
Juegorama is a designer and manufacturer of board games and card games. I launched the first edition in Spain on Christmas 2014 and have sold in specialty stores, Fnac and Toys "R" Us. I plan to offer a second edition with many improvements. I attended the Essen Spiel Fair in both 2015 and 2016.
I am working with a experienced game manufacturing company that has successfully put together many similar game projects, including other Kickstarter games.
Iron mechs are mass produced. The first edition mold will continue to be used, the rest of the miniatures and mechs are prototypes. The production miniatures will have a much better fit and finish than prototypes.
I've been working on the Iron League:Black Stadium project for about 2 years now.
This kickstarter would also not be possible without the fine work of Pablo Miras. Thanks for your hard work!
And I want Thank Darkstone forum, Obenji for the amazing painting in the Referee miniature, La Mazmorra de Pacheco, Mi Cabeza Friki, Undead Viking, Board Game Brawl, Iain Stewart, Heather Otte with her amazing voice and for the incredible main video of Sulker. You can watch more exciting Sulker videos here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCjQVlc9dqlNz5ZrfAdKI4pQ
And special thanks to my wife Loli, without her this project will not be possible.
