Tournament of Towers is a tabletop game with tower building and card drafting mechanics.
It’s quick to learn (~5 minutes), easy to play (~30 minutes per game), and intended to be equally fun for casual family game night or cut-throat adult competitive play. (1-4 players with 1 copy, or combine 2 copies together and play with up to 8 players!)
PARENTS! This game is a great educational game for kids.
- Help Your Kids Learn: Object recognition, value assessment, spatial relations, problem solving, order of operations planning.
- Difficulty Level Scales Easily: You can easily scale the game to the ability level of the child (or adult!) by adding or subtracting from the number of pieces per round.
A steady hand is good, but the game also rewards those who can pre-visualize a plan and take risks. It boasts complex shapes no other dexterity game has ever dared to make and adds mechanics and alternate play modes that create endless replay-ability.

"I thought Tournament of Towers was a fun game that successfully merged two mechanics I really enjoy in gaming: card drafting and dexterity. Card drafting opens up some nice, strategic options for players during the game." - Board Game Quest - Written Review
In each round, every player can add a total of seven (7) pieces, colored either grey (stone) or yellow (gold), placed by hand on top of the player’s own foundation piece, or stacked on other pieces already on the foundation or tower.
At the start of each round, each player is dealt seven (7) cards. Next, you will need to Draft Cards: to do so, pick one (1) card that matches a piece you want to place on your tower, then pass the remaining cards to the player on your left. Repeat the process until each player has selected seven (7) cards.
Next, choose your Build Order from the cards you have chosen. Place each card down one by one, first card on the left to last card on the right.
You must place each piece on your tower in the order you establish. Next, place your Architect Miniature on your tower if you dare to take the chance!
Score points at the end of each round for the tallest tower (3 points), for each gold piece on your tower (1 point), and for your architect figurine on your tower (1 point, must be placed higher than last round!).
After two (2) rounds, the player with the most points and NO fallen pieces – WINS!

Risks and challenges
While we have fully tested and validated that our 3D printed PLA plastic pieces work effectively during gameplay, our final manufactured version will be made utilizing a combination of polyresin, silicon molds, and/or plastic injection molds. This leads to some potential unknowns currently, but we have spent a lot of time with our manufacturing team preparing to address challenges related to anticipated weight and durability alterations. We will take the added time and step of receiving and testing a production proof before mass production is underway. This will ensure a quality product gets delivered to you once production officially begins. Quality is our top priority.
Once manufacturing starts, we are expecting up to eight months for production and two months for shipping. Your game will arrive in late March or early April 2018 if everything goes well.
There are always unexpected problems that might pop up when it comes to manufacturing a physical game, but we are doing everything in our power to give everyone plenty of time to get the game manufactured and delivered, even with unexpected delays.
We've put a significant amount of our time and personal funds into making Tournament of Towers a polished, production-ready game. By partnering with WinGo Industry Ltd to manufacture the game, we are prepared to deliver a top quality product to you as soon as possible. With a successful Kickstarter campaign, we'll send the final files to WinGo straight away and aim for a March/April 2018 delivery to all our backers.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
