Namaste and warmest hellos!
I'm so excited to start my Kickstarter campaign! I'm a musician and chant/kirtan artist that believes in the power of music to heal and transform. I'm creating my first full-length CD with the mission of inspiring and supporting others, bringing people together, and making their hearts sing and souls rock. I invite you to become a part of my project and humbly ask for your help in making this a reality...
This is a CD of all-original music: ancient mantras set to modern rhythms including pop/rock, R&B, reggae, electronica and even Latin seis and festejo. Think Lauryn Hill meets Imogen Heap meets your yoga teacher:) Production has already begun and I can't wait for you to hear what we've been doing in the studio. Sounds clips to follow in the coming weeks (including one at the intro of my Kickstarter video;)
Your contribution will help:
- Manufacture the first run of the CD (1000 copies)
- Record/mix/master the CD at a professional studio
- Compensate the professional artists (musicians, engineers, graphic designer)
- Get the CD into your hands and the hands of like-minded DJs and folks all over the place!
I am a longtime admirer of female-led mantra music and hope that with your help we can get more women wallahs heard in yoga studios, theatres, cars, temples, on radio stations, at festivals, and at that hip little lounge that you like...
Please help spread the word before the June 10th deadline by sharing this link and my video with your networks. I've created some interesting rewards for most every pledge, including tote bags (see photos below) AND free tickets to the highly-anticipated Boston Yoga and Chant Fest where I'll be a featured artist, but first we have to be successful in reaching the fundraising goal together!
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support - every little bit helps - and I promise I won't let you down.
With Gratitude, Love, and in Peace,
