David Hayter speaks!
Hi! Jeremy Blaustein here! This is our first update and I'm not going to waste another minute before letting you all know how incredibly grateful I am for all the support you have shown with your pledges, tweets, and posts! I am overwhelmed and deeply moved. There's something special about you all and something that connects those of us that love these kinds of games. I will always be ready to listen to your hopes and desires for the game because I am sure we're on the same wavelength!
In the coming days and weeks, you're going to see more of what we have planned. We're still very early in the production, but we're moving ahead full-steam as we speak and we know you're going to flip when you see some of the things we have in store. Please stay in touch with us. We already feel like this is one big growing family, and we mean it when we say (even though it sounds like a total cliché) that we want to hear from you and share with you as we go forward. Having said that, there are quite a lot of secrets in the game story that we can't -and won't -tell you about because it would ruin the fun!
With this first update, I want to talk about David Hayter and how happy I am to have him on this project! He and I first worked together back in 1998 on the original Metal Gear Solid. We hit it off right away, both being serious wise-asses. But David is a brilliant writer too as you know and brings that special genius to his games (when he's given the chance to actually use his brain in the studio, that is!) His participation in the game will really take us over the top and I can't wait until I get him in the studio. It will be a blast and we're going to have so much fun with it. I can promise you that it will be probably the best stuff you've heard him do in years.
