Hawaii born singer/songwriter Kimie' is raising funds to finish recording and releasing her new album independently, without a label.
About this project
Aloha! I am a singer, songwriter from the Big Island of Hawaii. Music has always played a huge role in my life and has inspired me to launch this here Kickstarter! My goal is to release an Ep (extended play album) of at least 5 new original songs by December and follow with the release of my full length album next year. It will take more studio time with my team of great producers, engineers, and musicians, to bring this album to life. I've already begun this project and have all the songs written and ready to record for example, Living in the City.
With your support, I can efficiently see this through. I've re-invested everything I've earned from shows, tours, and even a recent Burger King Hawaii commercial back into my new music, including the release of my new single "Shame on You".
It will take a funding goal of at least $8,500* to finish recording, mixing, mastering, and printing my EP album. If I do not reach this goal, I do not get anything and anyone who has pledged will get their money back. If I exceed my funding goal for this project, I will use that money towards funding my full length album (to be released next year & will take at least $20,000) and for other expenses such as promotions for the album, merchandise, travel expenses, and recording equipment (so that I can do my own quality recording projects at home).
*If I reach/exceed my goal, Kickstarter will take a 5% fee of the total and charge me additional fees for pledges made via credit card.
I feel like I owe it to my fans and supporters to deliver the best music I can because I know I wouldn't be where I am today without them. I'm ready and willing to work hard to bring you good music and take it to the next level. With your support, the sky's the limit!
