You Win Some, You Learn Some
During Maker Faire Rome, we had the chance to showcase ESLOV and the ESLOV Cloud to a large audience of children, students, Makers, engineers, and enthusiasts. Despite all of the attention generated, both there and online, it is evident that we will not be able to achieve our Kickstarter goal. As a result, we have decided to cancel our campaign and focus our energies on continuing to develop the platform.
We are extremely grateful for your support over the last several weeks. Your feedback has been extremely valuable. We are continuing to take your voices into consideration and will incorporate a lot of your suggestions into the next iteration of ESLOV. In the spirit of the Maker Movement, we will chalk this campaign up as a learning experience and grow from it with support from our awesome community.
We believe that modularity and an open architecture will play an integral role in the future of IoT, and ESLOV will help make connected-device creation more accessible to everyone. We have the tools, the team, the knowledge, and, with 450-plus backers, the interest. It’s just a matter of time before we can bring this DIY invention kit to the masses.
We will continue to develop ESLOV’s hardware and software, and release it once it is ready. We will continue to update you all from the Kickstarter platform.
This will surely not be the last of ESLOV! Stay tuned!
