Dear Backers,

More Glion eScooters are on the way and we hope to have them available for sale in August. We are also hard at work developing our next model, which we plan to introduce on Kickstarter in July.  It’s called the Glion Model 200 or Glion Dolly eScooter.  Many of you asked for a roller bag accessory, so we did you one better.  We physically incorporated the roller bag feature into our scooter frame!  The Glion Dolly will have the same great features of the first model (less USB charge port), plus an added “dolly” feature, so that you can fold it and walk with it like you would a roller bag.

Jeff used a prototype of the Glion Dolly eScooter in Shanghai the other day.  He loved it!  He appreciated being able to walk with the scooter instead of carrying it through the train stations.  When he was on the train, the scooter stood vertically by itself and took less space than a small carry-on suitcase.  He also commented that the optional cover made the scooter inconspicuous and and protected the clothing of anyone who accidentally brushed up against it.  The cover can be crumpled into the size of a baseball and carried in your pocket when you ride.  We are still in the process of selecting the right material to make it wrinkle free.

Below are a couple prototype pictures of the Glion Dolly eScooter with and without the cover.  The cover will also fit our first model and we will sell it as an accessory.  There’s still a lot to figure out, but our plan is to introduce the Glion Dolly eScooter on Kickstarter soon to help finance manufacturing and keep moving forward.

Speaking of our next Kickstarter campaign, please share with us your pictures, videos and testimonials of you and your Glion. We want to feature them in our upcoming Kickstarter campaign. You can share these with us on any of our social media sites or www.glion-scooter.com or email at support@glion-scooter.com.

We have rerouted the first batch scooters intended for EU and AU backers to North America.  They should arrive Shipwire’s LA warehouse towards the middle of July.  We are now selling them on our website www.glion-scooter.com.  We have a little over 20 left.  We are working on getting the $25 off coupon figured out for the hook plate stumble.  Until then, if you order a new scooter on our website, let us know and we will give you your hook plate credit.

We are also getting our thank you page set up on our website for all of you who helped us get our start.  YOU ARE AMAZING!  You have supported us through thick and thin, and we are grateful. Glion!
