@Archangel you mean we need to wait longer because they raised more funds?
@Matt feel free to take that advantage for me

Basic boxed edition still shows up as $50 for me, not that I'm complaining.

Anyway, hats off to you beta people for making the game better. I can wait until you're all done.

@Bruce: They are not late. Estimated delivery is just that, an estimation. And one for the original $ 900 000 goal. Since they got almost 3 mil $ and said to put in lot more content and polish it more it takes longer. It is basic math.

I backed this from very early, almost from the first announcement.

I still feel that alpha and beta testing benefits the devs considerably more than the testers.

Do you remember when Q&A was an actual job with a game developer?

      I do.

I'll wait till it's done and judge it's merit then.

@Bruce Kickstarter projects aren't pre-orders, there has never been a delivery date, only estimates. Nobody is forcing you to take advantage of a generous decision to offer Beta access for less than the $60 cost of the original KS. :)

Additional $10 for Steam beta access?!! Are you kidding me? You're already late for delivery for over four months! How about never releasing your game and keep asking people additional money for "BETA access"?

Really tempted to try the beta (I pledged enough to be on it), but I won't.
I know what will happen - I'll play it, finish it and won't play the game again when it'll be fully released... I'll just wait for the real release - I've waited long enough (since Wastelands 1), so I don't care waiting for a little bit more ;)

Game is looking much more fluid and user friendly :-)

Here we go indeed, time to sit back and watch people still criticize you and continue to complain for whatever reason if the cesspit of the comments section from the last update is anything to go by -_-

In other news, just booted it back up to see all these changes. Very nice indeed :)

@lester Backers could get the future release for $15, paying $10 extra for the beta gives you $25. Steam is $59.99 according to http://store.steampowered.com/app/240760.

Not sure where you're getting $30, but it would still be cheaper to get the beta with the $15 tier than buy it now on steam.

Looting dead sythns requires the computer science skill right? Will there be some overlap here with the mechanic skill as they are put together like a car etc.

    14. lester2dev on

I didn't quite get it. So if I am a backer I need to pay $10 over the top of my pledge just to get the beta that ordinal steam users can get for $30, right?

"the basic digital tier is not $35"

      Yes it is!
