It felt really good to see the hand-written signatures on the box when I received it! Thanks for taking the time to do that!

      1. You guys are awesome!

      2. I'm assuming you guys can't talk about the rumors yet you've bought the rights to Van Buren and are doing that next?

      3. Some tactical features like called shots didn't make it into Wasteland 2, but I thought I read they might get added with expansions or patches later. After 5 major patches, at some point I know you guys have to move to future projects. Can you address whether or not a major feature like called shots is something out of scope at this point? I've actually held off playing Wasteland 2 so far because I wanted to wait for patches and feature changes.

The End is nigh looks great on goodreads. I'm looking forward to Torment and I'm slowly working through wasteland. I can't imagine a world where I wouldnt kickstart another inXile game.

@T.J. Brumfield - Brian commented on the marks to IGN a while back, see more here: http://www.ign.com/articles/2014/12/10/wasteland-2-developer-trademarks-two-classic-rpgs

Can't comment in detail on future plans but keep your eyes peeled, we'll have more to talk about.

I've backed some indie gems on Kickstarter, but for overall quality and depth, nothing I've backed on Kickstarter to date comes close to Wasteland 2. Fantastic job, inXile!

I'm looking forward to the new Torment game. And I plan to be a Day 1 backer on any future crowd funding campaigns.

When did the signed collector boxes get shipped?

Wondering if I should be concerned since I have not received it yet, or if it is just due to international shipping taking longer.

Tnx for the game InXile. I will be sure to back Torment 2 before you close the website :D
And I hope to back your next game on KS as well.
I wish you many more years of making great games for us.

It's all fun and games but I backed this project in hopes to play it along with everyone else. A bit of delay here and there doesn't bother me at all, but the game was released in September. It's now January 2015 and still no sign of the game, does anyone have any ETA on physical copies? You know games get old rather fast, it's been 4 months out and it's getting harder and harder to wait for your turn. I don't want to buy it over steam.

    11. inXile entertainment 3-time creator on January 6, 2015

@Anhedoniq All backers have digital keys available on the Ranger Center for GOG.com or Steam. The physical goods require Steam activation anyway, so i'd recommend grabbing your key.

@Sven International signed copies were shipped back to Deep Silver in Europe for distribution from there, so they'll take a bit longer

Have a good year, nay, an excellent year ahead of you (inXile and anyone reading this). (c:

I must concur, Wasteland 2 is one impressive product to come from KS, solid all the way with so much to offer. Hope to see more of it 'down the road'.

Every last dime I spent on wasteland 2 was well spent. Good job guys, I can't wait for torment, and I'll be supporting you on your future adventures.

    14. Tommi Tossavainen on January 6, 2015

Thank you for a great game! Do you have an ETA for the modding tools?

    15. Rafael Lopes Vivian on January 6, 2015

      I love freebies. Thanks.

    16. Chet on January 6, 2015

      Gah! More free stuff?

Man, I'm getting sooooooo tired of you guys just giving and giving.

You're giving other devs a bad name. :P heh heh

I will certainly be backing your next endeavor.

    17. Julius Schorzman on January 6, 2015

What a great success this project has been. Congrats!

Got the boxed copy almost a week ago, and I must say, WELL DONE!!! The presentation was immaculate and I love the cloth map!!! Overall, crowdfunding has been massively successful with only a couple really bad stories (yet those are what everyone points to) over a very successful year. I hope you guys keep supporting the community with links to great, new RPGs and add interesting content (along with an expansion or two) for Wasteland 2 as I just want MOAR!!! :))))

I received my collectors edition last weekend and it was pretty much what I wanted and expected. I would recommend a different style for the map next time though!

With that, everything that I wanted and was entitled to for my pledge level has been delivered. I am very satisfied with this outcome and regret nothing. Overall I think the Wasteland 2 kickstarter was handled perhaps the best out of all of the ones I have backed so far. Yes there were setbacks, but inXile held fast and kept the updates coming steadily. The end product was not perfect but very satisfying.

Thank you Brian Fargo and everyone at inXile for showing me the world of Wasteland 2. I look forward to Tides of Numenera and your next kickstarter campaign.

      Was certainly my 2014 GOTY.
Closest thing to a proper fallout game I've played in a long time (Well, apart from Underrrail, but that's a different kettle of fish)

Just waiting on this massive weapon overhaul/balance patch however before I can truly say that it's perfect. Let's not beat around the bush here afterall, Assault rifles are just OP compared to almost everything else. Pistols are completely useless once you get to LA etc.
Seems like a massive oversight and something that kind of detracted from my play experience honestly. Apart from that though well done with everything and the sales and awards.

I Look forward to Torment and the next 'totally not Van Buren' Kickstarter project.

I would back the crap out of that game!!!

Wasteland was my first gaming experiences which helped start a long term interest in gaming.

Very pleased with the end product and in having helped inXile being back to life a cRPG classic.

to Team Wasteland and to their future projects.

      > When you’ve been in this industry as long as I have you realize every game is a matter of give and take and making concessions and hard decisions

No, you bloody don't. That's _not_ what I donated money towards, If you need more time and money to create a truly great game that you wish to make, frigging aski for it, not release a 75
      % finished product, dimwits.
