      Hi guys,
Just looked at my pledge and I don't seem to have received my bag, who do I contact about that?

Just received my CE. Love it!

    4. gandalf.nho

@MIchelle, sorry only now saw your answer, the Ranger Center is the place where inxile is where you can get your key: and GOG ( is a site who sells game in digital format like Steam, but they only work with DRM-free games

    5. Felix on

Still havent got a notification or a shipment on either my survival pack or my CE :(

I assume that the new RPG is Bard's Tale, and with half the people wanting the old school version, and the other half wanting the comedy version, I suggest a version where every choice is a choice between the serious on one side, and the funny on the other side. (I have only played the old school Bard's Tale, and I'm perfectly fine with letting that version rest in peace.)

    10. Michelle A. Truax on

@gandalf.nho I have no clue what "Ranger Center" is, or GoG... completely new to backing digital games on kick starter, and DRM games in general.

    11. Balthazar on

God, please, let the new RPG be fallout :P

    12. Paul Andersen on

Hey, thanks for making a great game.

    13. Josh on

      I meant edition*, doh!

    14. Josh on

I think it's a real testament to the dedication and love InXile has for this game series that this is one of the best games released through kickstarter (and in the best time frame of all the games I have kickstarted thus far).
Keep up the great work inXile!
PS that collector's addition looks awesome. I wish I could have afforded that although my regular big box is really cool too.

    15. Yann Best on

Oh no, the collector's edition looks amazing... but with the two-month wait since confirming my address 2nd October and now I have literally just finished moving house! I fear that the empty flat left in our wake won't have an easy time receiving the package, never mind passing it on...

    16. gandalf.nho

@Michele, the DRM-free option is the GOG one, and in Ranger Center you can choose between a Steam or GOG key

    17. Michelle A. Truax on

We never got our DRM free download or info on how to download it.

    18. Christian Dannie Storgaard

How big is that box? I was expecting it to look at least sort of like the mockup (, so I've cleared a space on my shelf for a classic game / board game sized box; the box in this new picture looks like it will only fit in storage, which would be a huge shame :S

      Alexander Schilpp on

Please let the new RPG be the Bard's Tale (based on the orignal party based one, not the mock-heroic solo character version).

    20. Missing avatar

      Archangel on

Would that new RPG be next Bard's Tale?

    21. Tobi (Crusader Kickstarter pls!!) on

OMG!!!!!!!!!! "myself and a few others at the studio are beginning to work on another RPG that has been passionately demanded of us for a while now" - which one which one? more infos please!

    22. ET3D on

Great to hear that you're working on another RPG.

Though for some reason what's been on my mind lately is what's happening with Kicking It Forward. Brian Fargo started it, so I feel like inXile should be the poster child of the movement, and should also lead the way in how reporting the results should be done, what projects were helped by it. I realise that it's possible that Wasteland 2 hasn't yet made back the money invested beyond the Kickstarter, but it's still something which I would like inXile to actively communicate with us about.

    23. signalnoise on

Has there been an update to show what the posters look like? I still haven't seen it but I can't wait for mine!

    24. Missing avatar

That Collector's Edition box looks amazing, and it'll be even cooler with the signatures!

    25. Ryan "Keokuk" Smith on

      Sweeeett!! can't wait!

    26. inXile entertainment 3-time creator on

@Travis, the DRM-free discs don't have a set date yet. We just sent out an email update to your Ranger Center email address (along with many other users) on this topic with some additional information, so you should have received that if you previously asked for one.

    27. Travis on

I opted in for the "Day one" physical disc within the right time, and last time I asked about it they still had no idea how or when they would be sent out. This update would have been a good space to update on that, but here I am waiting. Ultra disappointed. With all of the cost of postage it will take they could have hosted a patch...on a a real classic PC game.

      Robert Gallo on

Ashen looks cool, but I absolutely cannot back a game where a pet dog may be killed. Digital dog, but real emotional low-blow. But to get back on topic a bit, will this balance sweep let characters with <8 INT be viable? I love Wasteland 2, but I feel like I need to game the system to be successful.

    29. Visa | Tormented Dreamgoat of Eternity on

@Alex and Asa. The boxed copy is steam locked by default. However there was at least a choice to opt for drm free version (through ranger center), which would be shipped separately at a later date (after they had pre-patched to the most recent version). This was mentioned in update 55. Unfortunately the deadline for opting in for that has propably ended, so presumably you'll be getting the steam version.

    30. Michael Uhrich on

      Bah. Shelves, not selves.

    31. Michael Uhrich on

Hmm other Interplay games with Fargo's name on them on my selves(besides Fallout and Wasteland)....Bard's Tale, Dragon Wars, Stonekeep and LotR. I really doubt they would get the LotR license back.

    32. Asa on

@Alex, the boxed copy is not DRM free. It contains a steam code, and the installer only works on Windows.

    33. Alex Valero "Danda" on

I have a question. Sorry if this has been said previously, but... is the boxed copy DRM-free, or does it include a Steam code?

    34. Missing avatar

      Salmanasar on

So no chances for restore cut content like whole-and-almost-ready Gibbers plot? And what about modding tools? You know, nobody wants Witcher 2 failure, where tools where ready two years after game so nobody used it and it was waste of resources.
Oh, and by the way, how's game selling? There's no info how (if?) Wasteland succeed

    35. Rene Lorentzen on

Will we receive shipping notice and tracking number for the doomsday survival kits ?

    36. T.J. Brumfield on

I'm curious what other RPG fans would demand from these guys that they'd be passionate about?

      Another Bard's Tale?

    37. William J. (B.J.) Altman on

Is that box big enough that I can also store my original Wasteland 1 box in there? =)

    38. SDX on

      Very nice.

A request for a future patch: Could you please make zooming out work up to "Too-far" level? It would really help paranoid tacticians like me when navigating hostile areas if I could zoom out far enough so that I see the edges of the veil of darkness when camera is centered on the party. When you are watching out for nuke pooches, the distance is critical, and I just can't zoom out enough to feel comfortable. Plus zooming out a-lot helps when you need to run over a whole area quickly. If performance is too low, then people will just choose to stay more zoomed in, otherwise computers will sooner or later be able to handle anything you throw at them.

    39. Roland Austinat on

P.S.: The Collector's Edition didn't come out great. It came out most awesomely.

    40. Roland Austinat on

Thanks for the update. Man, I need to get back to the Wasteland to finish what I've started - if only work wouldn't be as crazy still this month. ;)

    41. Fuzzy Puffin on

Thanks for the update. Will the next patch include Steam achievements for Mac and Linux?

    42. Stephen "Stoibs" D

Another RPG? Awesome, look forward to the announcement and opportunity to throw more money at you :D

Also yes please on the balance changes for this; can't believe how useless my Pistol guy is and pistols in general with their bafflingly high 'AP-cost-for-still-worthless-and-crap-damage' late game compared to the insta-gib Burst fire+Headshot AR's...

    43. Arjuna on

97 hours and I've barely ever gotten out of Arizona before I go back to do something else. This game is almost perfect! You guys exceeded expectations on release and I'm glad you're still working on it. As much as I'm anticipating Torment I want to keep playing Wasteland 2 so more patches will definitely be appreciated!
