So remasters update?
Thanks for the update. Nice to see some of the lore behind the monsters, but I'm sure that most people are really... really... keen to hear more about the game itself - dungeons, combat mechanics, party mechanics and the like. Still, any update is welcome at this point :)
The monster design looks great - especially the Fachan!
Having just seen the video - sounds like the big update will be a preview of combat at the end of Jan. Looking forward to that!
Great update, thanks for all the details about creatures and their real-world origins! Love it.
Vidlsvin? Is that a typo or intentional - considering "viLDsvin" means boar/ wild pig in (at least) Danish. So it is basicly "Boar the boar" :p
If there are party components to this game a derpy little dragon (orphaned by the player?) companion would be neat since, according to this, it'd be at the same intelligence level of a dog. A great guardian of the Bard's gold from everyone, enemies, allies, and the bard himself/herself as well.
Saxon1974: +1 to an actual update on the progress of the remasters that are now a year over due.
thanks for the update
Looks great and keep doing what you're doing :-)
Thanks for the update, but the Anthropophagie looks like it is wrapped in plastic, i.e. bad. I really hope you won't be using that much reflectivity / specularity on the skin in-game.
"Vidlsvin the Boar, the Einarr god of War" looks very silly to Scandinavians. Vidlsvin is just a typo of vildsvin, which is the modern Danish/Swedish word for boar.
Looks like there will be some really bizarre monsters in this game, which will be nice. The antropophagie conjure up memories of the headless in Ultima. Brutes who would silently run up and start slaughtering my party!
Would also like an update on the remasters please
