Another Stretch Goal Down!

Hello Team-members :)

I hope you are all doing well! I just wanted to let you know that our stretch goal "275 Custom Card Sleeves" as been unlocked, and a new one revealed!

This means that all backers at $25CAD and higher can have these custom sleeves included  with their pledge at no additional cost (neither to your pledge nor to your shipping).

It has politely been brought to my attention that not all backers may want sleeves, either because they won't use them, or because they strive to be environmentally conscious. So, an "opt out" option will be included in the pledge manager. Unfortunately there is no cost saving to those who opt out as I have a minimum print run I have to adhere to. And for those who opt out, if they change there mind after the pledge manager closes there will be additional shipping charged to get them the sleeves.

Summit Versions/Modes

99.9% of Summit and Yeti copies that go out will be the second printing (with split rulebooks and 1mm wider cube slots in the player boards.) These changes were made to acknowledge some feedback by a very well known reviewer/content creator, they do not have an impact on the game play.

All copies of Summit, Yeti and Teams can be played competitively, cooperatively or solo, right out of the boxes. And they all have the same premium component quality.

We are currently at GAMA trade show in Reno, NV.

We are here to promote Teams, as well as the rest of our line of products. So I may be a little slower than usual in my posts/replies.

Thank You Notes and Replies

With my personal thank you notes - I have caught up with all but the most recent pledges. If you haven't received a note and you pledged prior to the last 24hours please let me know as there may have been a glitch on my side.

And to everyone who replies with wonderful comments and questions, I thank you. I don't have time to reply just now but I will catch up on that as well (I try to prioritize with answering questions). Know that I do read every note I get, and your kind words mean the world to me! :) :) :)

Pledges VS Pledge Manager Upgrades

Just a note of clarification here. Pledges help us reach stretch goals, which everyone appreciates. However some backers aren't able to pledge more for the time being, so everyone will have the ability to increase your pledge or add-on copies within the pledge manager after the campaign ends.

I will also be offering our other titles "Gorus Maximus" and "Vault Assault" in the pledge manager. They are both multi-lingual (En/Fr/De).

Brexit Implications to Shipping

Currently our fulfilment centre is in Germany but we are in contact with multiple UK base providers to help manage any issues and changes that may arise between now and fulfilment.

If you know me from previous campaigns, I will do everything in my power to take care of you!

Family Update

Caleb was heart broken this week when the city finally came by to clear the snow, and his giant snowbank forts were destroyed. To give you an idea of just how much snow we get I took a short video:

As mentioned above we are out of town for a convention so I don't have a kid story at the moment. However, I do have a funny story of my bad luck coming here...

We had to take 3 flights, Thunder Bay to Toronto to Denver to Reno. On the second flight, which was fully booked, I decided to be helpful and sky-check my carry-on at the gate. With more room and comfort I placed my small backpack under the seat in front, slipped off my shoes and began to work on my laptop. An hour or so later I had to use the bathroom so I went to put my shoes back on.... and found one to be soaking wet!!

The pressure in the cabin had built up enough to push the stopper of my water bottle open and it dripped slowly into my shoe for that hour. Luckily the flight attendants were at our row so I asked for some napkins and proceeded to dry my shoe as best as possible. Now I don't know how many planes you've been on, but I can't imagine you've sat next to someone who was drying their shoe!! And I realized I looked crazy so I had to explain loudly what had happened. Ugg.

Luckily I knew I had dry socks in my carry-on. When we got off the plane all the passengers who had checked their bags at the gate picked them up, except me. Mine didn't show up.

Upon investigation I found out that my bag had been checked to our final destination.... Yay! :(

I may change my name to soggy-foot.

Wet shoe on a plane. Well it’s good you were traveling by air Conor because you are most surely a train wreck. Lol. Glad you made it safely, amigo!
