Alive after Gen Con!
I just wanted to keep you in the loop that things are progressing smoothly and 90% of the files have been submitted to the manufacturer to get proofs. (I just need to update the German and French rulebooks and then all files will be finished.)
For those that missed this in the last update - I am still waiting on the red gilding sample video. As of this morning "Good news, factory has received the red glittering and will send the video soon.:)" So I will let you know as soon as I have it!
Crowd Ox Surveys
Thank you to all of you who filled these out so quickly, it is much appreciated!
Those who haven't please do.
Those with issues, I am working with CrowdOx to fix them and will update you when I do.
If you have friends who want to back Gorus Maximus they have a few days left before I close the late pledge window. They can access it from the KS page, or by searching "Gorus Maximus CrowdOx."
Gen Con was great as I got to meet a whole bunch of backers I had never met before! And they can tell you, as promised, hugs were plentiful!
The booth was busy with interest, Gorus Maximus made it up to #3 on the GeekBuzz list, and we were running demos all day every day! (The only downside was not having copies to sell!)
And I got to play with friends I made way back when I was promoting Summit at Gen Con with just some homemade prototypes! (Sorry team for feeding Joel -4 points on the first hand... I may have been pre-occupied!)
I was also invited by my buddy John Wrot to help out on a Kickstarter Advice Panel, and it was a blast. I find it very important to "pay it forward" with all the kindness and advice I have received over the years :)
Every year my wife and I take the kids to a small music festival where we camp out and relax, listening to amazing tunes and enjoying the fresh air. We head for that tonight, and I am not gonna lie - I am really looking forward to it. I have been working too hard for too many months now and I need to decompress, and reconnect with my kids. This is going to be wonderful.. although I am sure I'll have a story or two for you when it's over ;)
Thanks again for being awesome, and have a great weekend!
