About this project
“Return to Glory” is a documentary film that will chronicle the U.S. Men’s Olympic Freestyle Wrestling team for two years leading up to the 2012 London Olympics. The filmmakers will work with USA Wrestling in order to ensure unprecedented access to the team. Over the next two years leading up to the Olympics, the filmmakers will follow Team USA, in their daily lives, as they train at the Olympic Training Center and compete at the 2012 U.S. Olympic Trials. Return to Glory will portray the athletes at their most human, creating a film that is both honest and true to the nature of the sport of wrestling and its effect on the lives of the athletes striving to attain Olympic gold.
The funds raised will help go towards the many costs incurred with documentary film production. These include but are not limited to equipment rental fees, crew pay, media rights acquisition fees, travel and lodging costs, festival submission fees, post production costs, and duplication costs.
