So close... upping my pledge.
Fingers crossed :)
@Airon: Thanks For You Help!!!
Jeez, I'm worried, but I have faith that this project will get funded, I upped my pledge to 35 to help. I really loved the part in the demo with the thunderstorm, showing the girl behind you really brought that sense that I feel when it seems like there's someone behind me. Again, hope this happens, and good luck Matt.
Cristian - It is so amazing! I am so fortunate to have such amazingly supportive backers!
I watched pewd's gameplay and it looks awesome! More cool than I anticipated from the game. The great thing is that the pledge is going up by the thousand every hour. I am sure this project will happen ^_^
Cleber - Thank you so much! :-D It's going to be a tense 25 hours, but I think we can do it!
Hello Matt! I'm super excited about this game, this needs to happen! So I've increased my pledge up to 61!! Go for it, last 24h and the stretch goal will be complete!! :)
Joe - Thank you so much! I think we can do it if we keep spreading the word! :-)
Upped my pledge to $28 and spread the word around. Crossin my fingers!
Ahmed - Thanks! I really appreciate your support. :) I think we can succeed, but it's going to be tense 27 hours!
I had my doubts, but you really know how to win hearts over. You deserve this kickstarter, as you've helped 93 other people besides yourself. I've given as much as I can, and more than I should. I hope you succeed!
Robert - Thank you so much! Kickstarting is a ton of work, and it is really tough to put yourself out there and deal with the emotional ups and downs of the project. However, I've found that people really latch on to the personal aspects of the pitch and the updates. That is really amazing! I am essentially getting rewarded for being myself without the usual filters and barriers I try to put up to hide my condition and feelings. That is difficult for me to understand, but quite amazing!
I wish you the best on your future endeavors!
Pulling really hard for your Kickstarter. I also have OCD so I feel you on the anxiety associated with this process. That's a major reason why I haven't tried to Kickstart any of my own projects yet. I hope the campaign succeeds and the game comes out to rave reviews. The demo is just so clever.
Jackson - You're very welcome! As someone who has struggled with mental illness, I know how difficult it is. I definitely want to make a positive difference in people's lives who also struggle. I also want to help shape the perception of mental illness. I'm glad to hear it is helping!
Karen - I love you! :-D You're the best sister ever.
I am Matt's sister, and I wanted to thank everyone for supporting him in his dream! I am sincerely grateful and I know he is too. Matt is an extremely generous, kind, and hard working person, and is the best brother in the world. He is loyal to a fault, and honest. In fact, when we were kids for many years he had never even told one lie, white lie, or fib. Ever. He is a unique person, and a wonderful person, and the struggles he talked about with mental illness were so incredibly painful for him. I know this game, showing people what mental illness is like, and helping remove the stigma from memtal illness is his dream. I am so grateful for everyone for contributing to help him make this dream possible. Thank you.
You're always thanking people so much on your videos, so I though I'd say thank you to you, as well! Even if the game doesn't get funded (which I hope it will!), the frankness of your pitch, the openess of the developer diaries and interviews on other sites has led to a bunch of intelligent talk about mental health on the video game pockets of the internet. As someone also dealing with anxiety and depression, it's been heartwarming to see, so it's only fair I thank you back for that!
Also, the demo is really really good. The art is phenomenal; also the little touches like the way the pencil scratches evolve, the difficulty in telling what's foreground and background, how long the door opening animation is, complete with a fade to black, just eeking out all the tension possible from each action.
I'm rooting for this one!
Matthew - While anything is possible, I suspect that it'd be quite difficult to make the project if our kickstarter fails. :( This is sort of our last ditch effort.
Alphyna - Thank you so much! That is very flattering. I never considered myself all that likeable. hehehe
Redfoxzero - We have less than $20k to go! I think we can do it.
Paola - Thank you so much for upping your pledge! :)
I WANT TO PLAY THIS GAME!!! Up my pledge to $50! *fingers crossed* :)
I mean this end will I want this game so bad
I hope the end will !
As someone who's given you a very generous sum of less-than-fifteen-bucks, I just wanted to say that I'm not even sure I'll play your game—I'm not into horrors (at all). But you just seem so damn likeable! And the visual style of NN is great, so please take my comment (and pledge) as a compliment. The best of like to you, hope NN happens!
Is it possible that this game can still be made if the kickstarter is not successful? I am really optimistic about it, and I would to see this game be made. I have tried to spread the word, and continue to do so.
