Sure thing. :) I really, really hope this game makes it. I was excited about Neverending Nightmares since its announcement, so I would be very sad if it wasn't happening at the end. Especially after seeing your effort.

IGN doesn't seem to really cover indie games, so I didn't really try to reach out to them. We did get coverage in game informer (I forgot to mention them). I don't have any good connections at any of the other sites, which are hugely helpful for getting press, but I'll see what I can do.

      Thanks for the advice!

      Hello,

I was thinking that if we (you Matt, plus backers) tried to write a couple of individual emails to big websites, they could actually notice that there is a wide fanbase of Neverending Nightmares and publish some articles.

Also, you didn't mention IGN, PC Gamer, Game Informer, CVG or VG24/7, which are pretty huge, so definitelly try to reach them.

Another great update. I see and feel how much you put in all things. I am with you, with mind and soul.

Here's where we stand on game sites:
Polygon - They handled our initial announcement as well as several other posts
Joystiq - They probably ran more articles than any other site.
Gamespot - I was on the podcast (and will be again tomorrow), and they wrote a really good piece.
Destructoid - We got an article, and I'll be on the live stream tomorrow. Whoo hoo!
Gametrailers - we've gotten some mentions in their indie sections
Giant Bomb - Podcasts and interviews. :)
Rock, Paper, Shotgun - They covered the announcement, but not the kickstarter. Perhaps that was because we were Ouya 6 months exclusive, but now that we are simultaneous on PC, Mac, and Linux, I'd love for them to run another article.
Kotaku - Unfortunately, I haven't heard back from anyone.

I'm not sure what other big game websites there are, but that's where we stand with my press plan. :)

Farmer Laurenz: By googling "polygon neverending nightmares" (without the quotes) I got three articles about this kickstarter:

Hang in there Matt! Keep at it! If you haven't sent things to the other big game sites 6 times yet, try that! Maybe they need just one more email.

Some one could probably correct me on this but I'm not sure if Polygon has covered the Kickstarter yet? I might be wrong though.
