Risks and challenges
As a business, we are ready to go live - and to go global.
Initially, our biggest challenge was to find the right manufacturer; we scoured the earth, met with numerous people and, ultimately, we've settled on a manufacturer in Italy, who we are SO excited about.
However, the next challenge was to figure out how to meet their minimum order: hence the idea of a Kickstarter was born.
We have a professional team in place, surrounded by excellent business mentors, and we are set up as a legal entity in New Zealand. The indigo & iris foundation is a separate organisation, which will support our charitable partners.
We’re well aware of the challenges that we face: hitting our target is the dream, but that still means that we’ll be operating on a tight budget. We’re working closely with our contacts to manage the logistics: but we know we aren’t personally doing the manufacturing and shipping, so we’re relying on others, their supply chains and the international market to ensure that we can deliver when we say we can.
We’ve taken all practicable steps to ensure that our manufacturers, suppliers and personnel are on the same page - they share our values, understand our vision and are as dedicated to making indigo & iris a reality as we are.
Our promise is to you that we will always be 100% upfront, honest and do absolutely everything within our power to deliver levitate to you.
We could not be more excited: thank you for coming on this journey with us.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
