About this project
WHAT OUR STORY IS ABOUT...
STRAY is the story of Rodney Weller, formerly known as the Rottweiler, sidekick to the great Doberman...his mentor. It’s been five years since he’s worn a costume and taken to the rooftops, but he’s back to solve the murder of the person who trained him. In the end, if he survives, he’ll have to decide if he wants to take over his mentor's mantle, or become something...someone, new. The story is about redemption and finding your own identity in the world...about honoring your past, but forging a new present.
WHAT WE ARE TRYING TO DO...
This Kickstarter’s goal is to successfully fund the first issue of our creator owned comic book, STRAY. The entire series has been written, editorially supervised, and now ready for art production. New Paradigm Studios, who are publishing Vito’s book, World War Mob, has optioned to pick up the series and solicit to the direct market. This is where you come in. As backers you will help us with all the art and production costs needed to finish this creator owned book. As you can see, we are well on our way into producing the book, and we will add more pages as they are completed (inks, colors and letters).

• The physical investment reward copies printed in this Kickstarter will only be printed for this campaign as a Kickstarter exclusive. NOWHERE ELSE. Plus all physical STRAY copies will be signed by writer Vito Delsante.
• Not to mention we have a slew of other exciting investment returns that include being drawn in one of our premiere titles and original artwork done by Sean Izaakse.
• STRAY will be a four issue arc that once funded will be solicited to be sold in stores.
WHERE DOES THE MONEY GO…
Money earned will go to covering fees, production, postage, and printing of the exclusive Kickstarter issue. Any leftover money will be used to fund the remaining issues in the arc as well as extra reward incentives for you, our backers. The first goal of this campaign is to create a special product for our fans and if the demand is high enough the additional funds will then go into producing the rest of the series.
Risks and challenges
We expect very light risks and challenges as most of the work -- the real leg work -- has already been completed as the entire series has been written. Sean already has a strict art production schedule set it place, so expect this book to be done by June 2014. We plan to keep you all aware with constant updates and availability to answer any and all questions.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
