What is Third Omen?
Third Omen is an old-school third person action-adventure video game, in which we tell a deep and engaging story about the conscious decision of personal destruction in the name of exaltation. But in order to achieve it you have to learn how to fully embrace cold emptiness, void and death.
* single-player, narrative driven experience - you play as Eve, a primordial force, the very concept of humanity. Together you will seek revenge on the demons of her past and make a choice to avenge the evil they did to her or keep the balance. But what if you are making a terrible mistake the consequences of which lead to total annihilation?

* tense surrealistic dark fantasy atmosphere - in Third Omen you will immerse yourself into a mind-blowing, shattered world, populated by powerful and distorted enemies, that seek to destroy you.

* timing-based combat system that puts you in control of your own actions - to deal with the creatures in Third Omen, we have created a precise fast-paced timing-based combat system that gives you full control of your actions. This combat system is at the core of the Third Omen experience.
* elements of an RPG – you will acquire new powers and abilities through battle and reveal a lot of deeply kept secrets about yourself.
* an emphasis on true psychological horror, rather than cheap jump scares - dare yourself to dip into an intense gameplay in а vast world with masterfully crafted psychological twists.
* music - specially composed music the rhythm of which will play some tricks with your emotional state.
* no subscriptions, no loot boxes and definitely no pay to win - we truly respect the games of old and strongly believe that Third Omen should give you the exact same engaging experience.
Who are we?
Incineration Productions is a newly founded independent game development studio. Currently we are 11 young and passionate people each one of whom with a different professional background and personal skill set. Our average age at the studio is 27 years, we aren’t veterans from the game industry, neither do we have any famous published games behind us, but what we are most proud of is our unwavering enthusiasm to create the single-player, narrative driven experience that we all as gamers deserve and want to play. Third Omen is much more than a game for us - it will be the first released game of our studio which will show the world who we are as game developers and what our core values and beliefs are.
The story behind and why we chose Kickstarter?
Full transparency. The initial idea for Third Omen occurred to Yuriy in May 2017. At that moment Gergana and Yuriy had another business together and were in a feverish preparation to close a deal and make an exit from it. The way Yuriy was talking about Third Omen and the initial story behind the game, however, was so inspiring that there was no other way but making Gergana think about the realization of the project. To be honest, It didn’t take long Third Omen to become a passion of Gergana’s aswell and from a side project they had started working on it on a daily basis.
Yuriy has a very strong vision for the realization of Third Omen. As a hardcore gamer he often complains of the recent practice of studios and big developers exploiting their fan base for easy profit, integrating micro transactions into once beloved and respected franchises or shoving out an unnecessary sequel every year. He truly believes that adding pay to win or pay to play mechanics to games adds no value for the players, instead it only treats them as a piggy bank. These beliefs became the core values of Incineration Productions and we have started looking for people who have the same understandings and share our passion of creating an old school game with an easy to learn but hard to master gameplay.
The first meeting of the team was in June 2017. As in that time we were almost broke, the initial idea was to gather a core team with the help of which we could make a technical demo of the game and start looking for an investment. After the first three weeks eight of those people had found an excuse to leave us. We were forced to meet in parks and at public places to discuss the game design while dreaming of the possibility one day to have enough money to hire an orchestra. There were three people working on the technical demo and that was during their free time, but when the stage was complete and we had the chance to play the level, it was worth every inconvenience we have been through.
Then came the hardest part - attracting an investment for the development of a video game. We received 357 emails with the title “it looks interesting, but we are not investing in video games” with a few variations. We had seven totally inadequate and unreal offers and just when we were sick of hearing “NO”, one random encounter in a bar between friends was going to change our destiny.
We officially founded Incineration Productions in August 2018 and since then we are 11 young people sharing the same passion, beliefs and core values. We work hard, we make mistakes, we learn from them and get back on track. The investment we have attracted will be enough to create an episodic structure of Third Omen and release its first episode. But to be honest - we are really inspired by the story and game design of Third Omen and do not want to split them into several parts. Kickstarter gives us not only the opportunity to extend our development cycle and release the game when it is fully polished, but it will also help us build a very special and direct relationship with players who enjoy the experience which the games of old offer.
With your support we will also be able to expand our team and thus create a much richer and fulfilling experience for you. We will also manage to create bigger and more detailed levels, enhance the variety and complexity of enemies and add multiple phase boss battles.
To be honest, everyone in our team is incredibly excited about the possibilities that Kickstarter might unlock and the process of making all of you, our backers, part of our journey. We will be fully transparent with our development process and give you an inside look to what goes with our game developers, artists and designers. We will also give you a behind the scenes look of the game’s development, and we have fun stuff planned like developer blogs, online sessions, chats, and much, much more.

Risks and challenges
Everything that you have seen through our campaign was put together by a very small team over the past 10 weeks. We have been through a lot of unexpected and unwanted situations, but we strive to make Third Omen one of those games that leaves a lasting impact on its players. With such a strong will, we truly believe that no matter the obstacles we face, we’ll give our best to get through them in the best possible way.
The biggest risk for us would be falling behind our schedule and release Third Omen later than we have initially planned. In order to prevent this from happening we have developed very carefully our business strategy and game design document and set achievable goals. We have also done some due diligence during the preparation of the Kickstarter gameplay demo, which helps us to be more precise in planning the time for the game assets creation.
