Last Call + T-Shirt Designs (!!)
We've got 63 hours left in the campaign and the excitement is brewing. We couldn't have made it this far without all your support and we're incredibly thankful as we move into the next phase of building and shipping your gTars to you. After the campaign ends, we'll be pushing out surveys to get your information and then hopping on a plane to China to get back to work! But for now, we wanted to write a quick update to tie up some loose ends.
First - we're still prepared to offer a second gTar color and our wooden pick guards as a free option if we hit $350k. We know lots of you have been posting the Kickstarter page (thank you!), but if you haven't yet and have any friends who are interested in owning one of the very first gTars, please let them know this weekend!
If you're an international backer and have not added money for shipping, please do so before the campaign ends. It's $10 for Canada and $60 for the rest of the world. We appreciate your diligence in sorting this out and feel free to reach out if you have any issues.
To clarify what several of you have asked us in the comments/e-mails - at release time, the gTar app will only support the iPhone 4/4S; however, many of you have asked about alternative applications (desktop computers, MIDI, etc). These uses and more are supported via USB and we'll be pushing out more info about this as we get closer to release.
Lastly - we're very excited to show you the t-shirt designs we've been brewing up! We'd love to hear your feedback, but you won't actually be able to vote until after the campaign ends.
If you're interested in getting a t-shirt and are backing a tier that does not include one - you can add $25 to your pledge and we'll make sure you get one!
