New Colors

First of all - we want to thank all of you (again!) for helping us break $300k on the campaign. It continues to amaze us and we're incredibly grateful for all the support, both financial and otherwise.

With this latest milestone, we wanted to make things interesting - when we hit $350k, we'll let our backers vote on a second color to offer the gTar in. For those of you that will be receiving gTars, you'll get to pick from one of the two available colors after the campaign ends.

But that's not it! Lots of you have been asking about our wooden pick guard (yes, it's real wood). This was originally built as a test case, but it seems like there's a lot of interest in making that available as well. So if we hit our $350k goal, you'll not only be able to choose the color of the body, you'll also get to pick between the plastic and wooden pick guards.

As always, if you have any questions - don't hesitate to reach out. And if you're interested in helping us accelerate to that goal, hop on over to our Facebook or Twitter and spread the word :-)

Here's a photo of a prototype we built with black paint and the wood pick guard. Not a finished product, just an example of how darker colors might look.

That's awesome! Love the black/wood combo, but would certainly entertain other color options too.
