THE LEFTY DRAMA
Who doesn't know a Lefty? If you check Wikipedia quickly, you'll read that an 8-13% of global population is Left-handed. That's approximately 732 million people! Lefties have been forced to live in a world designed and made for the right-handed.
Please, take a minute and think about it. Throughout their lives Lefties must deal with lots of difficulties, like tools designed for the right-handed. The list is pretty extensive: Scissors, Corkscrews, Gearshifts, Desks and of course, this affects writing.
Occidental languages are written left to right. For a right hand this is no problem at all, but for Lefties this can be an obstacle. You see, when a left hand writes from left to right, it drags the palm over the notes. This usually leads to ink stains, fingerprints, smears and smudges...
To avoid the “Lefty Drama”, a left-handed person has to adopt an awkward hand posture when holding a pen: Weird angled wrists, bizarre finger positions, or even levitated palms… All this craziness is justified by Lefties just to avoid “the drama”.
The struggle is very real…

Imborrable® has taken on the job to make the world a better place for our Lefty friends! Our Team has developed a solution that will help Left-handed people avoid “the drama”.
We’ve designed a unique notebook that will enable them to write without any hassle!
We’ve called them: Leftybooks, notebooks designed and made exclusively for left-handed minds. The Leftybooks contains a slight slant-ruled paper printed in the inside, so you can write with your left hand without running over your own notes.
Ink stains, fingerprints and smears, are gone!
In Spanish the Leftybooks are called "Zuadernos" as a result of mixing up the words "Cuadernos" (Notebooks) and "Zurdo" (Left-handed)

MEET THE XL LEFTYBOOKS
After having a successful local Crowdfunding campaign, with our regular A5-sized Leftybook, we've decided to go BIG and go GLOBAL by launching our EXTRA LARGE size notebook for all the Lefties on the planet.
This Kickstater campaign will help us produce the new XL version and distribute them globally. The XL Leftybook contains 144 pages of a slightly slant-ruled paper, so you can write with your left hand without running over your own notes.

OUR STORY
Imborrable® was born out of our love for paper and design. Founded by Jaime de la Puente, the stationery team is specialized in designing Sustainable Paper Products from Madrid, Spain.
The idea of designing an exclusively Left-handed notebook came thanks to Jaime's sister, who as a Lefty talked to his brother looking into this issue. After meeting some other Lefty friends, listened to their point of views and studied their writing, our team developed and tested a slightly slant-ruled paper with great achievement.
We are a young team living in a small neighborhood in Madrid. We have plenty of experience in Graphic Design, E-commerce, Communications and we’re used to work with small regional printers and workshops. We love to start our workday drinking a cup of coffee under Madrid’s Sun, while we listen to songs like "Rocket Man", "Kung Foo Fighting" or "Up Around The Bend".
OUR PAPER
We feel very conscious about the environment, which is why our products are always made from renewable forests. All our Paper is FSC certified (Forest Stewardship Council). This guarantees it comes from a forest established solely for this intention, preventing deforestation, and managed by people that share our environmental views.

We are very experienced in manufacturing new products. Everything will be under control. In case we encounter a problem with our production, we will contact all of our backers and will do our best to fix it.
