  • No, the magnets will not damage your iPad. The magnets in FACET are the same as those found in Apple's Smart Cover and attach to magnets in the iPad itself.

  • It works with iPad 2 and the new iPad. Because FACET attaches to magnets in those devices, it does not work with other tablets.

  • FACET is made of ABS plastic with a smooth finish. All of the edges have been ever so slightly rounded. It will not scratch the aluminum or damage the finish of the iPad.

  • FACET is plastic, not aluminum. It won't hurt you. We've also been very careful to round all edges so it won't scratch you -- or your iPad. In general, it has a sharp look, but a pleasant feel.
