Extreme Zenlil Simulation and new Story Beta!

Hello everyone!

We've got some great news and developments to share with you all!  Development is going great and the game gets closer and closer to completion everyday.  Major milestones signalling how close we're getting to the finish line happen everyday.  For instance, as of today, ALL of CONSORTIUM'S voice acting is now working in-game.

Extreme Zenlil Simulation

Remember that stretch goal we achieved just in time for the campaign deadline?  Well we've got non-scripted decompression events working in-game now....  Here's a quick glimpse of it. (spoiler alert!) :

...just so we're clear, this is NOT what a Consortium Bishop is supposed to do. ;-) This is simply to demonstrate the fact that the doors CAN be blown out, either by accident or on purpose. Also, near the end, the only reason I didn't get sucked out was because I was running backwards, and the atmospheric shielding kicked in. Plus, to be honest, the FX for the player getting sucked out isn't quite ready for showing off just yet, though you CAN try it yourself in the latest story beta....

Digital Rewards and Story Beta #2

We have partnered up with the extremely cool folks over at Humble Bundle, and they will be helping us out with delivering all the digital pledge rewards to you as they become available.

To get access to your custom Consortium backer digital reward page, head on over to  and enter in the email address you used to back us here on Kickstarter.

For those Beta Testers among you, you will notice a brand new build on your page, all ready for your play-testing enjoyment!  Annoying server drops while downloading builds and corrupted install files are now ancient history...

Grab the latest, have some fun with it and then come join us on the development forum to discuss your experiences!

Even though we're close to the finish line, there's still time to join us and voice your opinions and ideas, as we put the final layers of polish and finishing touches on our game.

More soon everyone!

William - no, I didn't. I clicked on the email link and it let me download the files for Beta.

I'm playing the beta and have found some bugs quite quickly (getting stuck and unable to move) but I can't figure out where to report them. Your website is... very clever, but not very helpful if we need to work out how to provide feedback!

I don't understand how the Humble Bundle thing is supposed to work. After entering my email address to get the key, do I then have to create a new account on that Humble site in order to get access to the digital content?

All physical rewards are slated to be worked on in October. Current ETA of Consortium v1.0 is mid October. It's very difficult to accurately predict how long it will take us to fix bugs and issues as they arise, or how many will arise as a result of all the testing we're doing now...but we're working as hard as we can!

Any news on the special backer DVD?

In case anyone was in the same boat as me below, Gregory McMartin responded very swiftly to an email I sent him apologising and reassuring that 'all the paypal modifications will be applied to the Humble Bundle stuff today...'. Nice one Gregory :)

Hi, I upgraded to the $17 Kickstarter Exclusive tier during the grace period after the Kickstarter ended and have my confirmation email. However on giving my email on the Humble Bundle link it says I am on the $10 tier still

(nb To avoid confusion when you check my details I ultimately upgraded to the $20 tier before the end of that period but my beta and forum access has worked fine, it's just the $17 tier stuff I'm not getting credit for on the Humble Bundle site)

Keep up the great work! Can't wait to play full release :D

You said earlier the game is 95% done. Okay. As Kickstarter projects go, 2 months behind is quite good but...everyone would probably like an ETA for the game 1.0 (bug fixes will probably come later).

the game was supposedly out by the end of august no?
What happened did you encounter some issues? I'd prefer having a date even if it's a 6 months delayed date than waiting for something without it.

      Waiting for the full game.
