About
TWO animations in ONE campaign!
This Kickstarter will be for not one, but two League of Legends fan animations, Stick Figure Spotlight 4 and Summoner Showdown 2. Both representing Hyun's Dojo and League of Legends, these series of animations have been widely popular throughout the LoL community and even featured in some of the biggest League tournament events!
Stick Figure Spotlight
These stick figure versions of champions clashed their way into the LoL scene back in 2012 and has been widely popular ever since. They have made appearances in many League events such as Season 2 World Finals and Season 3 All Stars and with a total of 18.5 million views, this series has won the appreciation from the league community. The 4th installment will include yet another 10 champions fighting it out in the most heated battle yet!
Summoner Showdown
Summoner Showdown first made its debut in Season 3 All Stars, taking China by storm. This series brings in-game LoL characters to life with traditional 2D animation. With your help, the next installment of this animation will now include 4 characters in a tense 2v2 fight at bot lane!
Meet the Animators! - Just 3 Online friends who like to animate.

Eric "Hyun" Kwon (23 - Brea, California) - Animator of Stick Figure Spotlight and founder of Hyun's Dojo. 6 Years of flash animating experience. Ever since he was a kid, he would always animate stick figures in textbooks and show them off to his friends. This small passion has now lead him to be known as one of the most well known stick figure animators on the internet!

Phillip "Terkoiz" Lacanlale (20 - Seattle, Washington) - Animator of Summoner Showdown. 10 years of flash animating experience. There are only few who share Phil's passion to animate. He has inspired many with his stick figure animations (including Hyun) and continues to raise the bar with every new project.

Michael "Miccool" Sung (21 - Vancouver, Canada) - Special effects animator for both Stick Figure Spotlight & Summoner Showdown. 10 Years of flash animating experience. Michael has always been obsessed with animating awesome effects, drawing most of his inspiration from watching and studying countless animes.
Why Kickstarter? Does Riot pay us?
We don't own a professional studio or have a team of dedicated animators. We're basically just 3 online friends who like to make animations for fun. With proper funding, we'll have the option to hire more people to the team. It will pay for higher quality custom music scoring, awesome background art, better visual and sound effects, voice actors, and just about every aspect of the animation process. We've been pretty lucky because Riot has generously helped us out on funding our previous project, but we decided to try something new and get the community involved with these upcoming animations. We want to share our process with you, the fans and in turn for supporting us, we will deliver on making really awesome animations to the community.

Stretch Goals & Hyun's Dojo

If we end up raising more than our target amount, we will have more options to make higher quality and longer animations in a shorter amount of time. It will also help support the funding of the future "Inhouse" animators for Hyun's Dojo. The Dojo will be the flagship animation company/community that will have a crew of inhouse animators (including the 3 of us), creating stunning animations for not only League of Legends but for all sorts of awesome animations. This will be the place to go to learn, watch, and create animations alongside an active and engaged community of artists and animators.
Rewards

There will be plenty of backer rewards including keychains, shirts, posters, digital & blu-ray copies of the animations, original FLA downloads, skype calls, cookies, and much much more. Make sure to check out all of the rewards in the side bar to the right!

Thank you for the support!
Of course contributing is optional and if we don't reach our goal, we'll still keep animating on our spare time, funding or no funding. Kickstarter will do exactly what it was made to do; to kick-start our producation and raise our animation quality to awesome heights. For those of you who do enjoy what we do and support us in any way, we thank you and look forward to bringing you more animations in the future!
Risks and challenges
As with any large project, there are always chances of delays with the animations. Note that animating is extremely time consuming and takes a lot of time and effort to complete and polish so if there are any delays, we will be sure to let you know and keep you updated with any set-backs with the projects. Another obstacle we face is that our team is split up around the world instead of being together in a studio, making communication slightly limited, but that has never stopped us before! With the help of Dropbox we have been able to complete our previous projects with great success. Hopefully with the success of these animations, we'll be able to all move to one place and work together under one roof inside a studio. We will try our very best to deal with any set-backs and work through the obstacles we face. With 4 animations already successfully made, you can trust us to pull through with these as well!
