To date, we have shipped out 8,902 rewards. You can login to BackerKit at https://hyperdrive.backerkit.com to check your shipping status and obtain the tracking number if your order has already been shipped out.

Getting from "Ready to Ship" to "Shipped"

Our biggest challenge right now is to ship out the rewards in the "Ready to Ship" group. Many of you are in this group and have been on this status for over a week. As mentioned in our previous update #10, the reason for the delay is due to Chinese New Year backlog and congestion at the Hong Kong fulfillment company that we are using, E-Services Group (ESG) (http://www.eservicesgroup.com).

We are very frustrated because ESG is a large reputable company that has fulfilled our previous Kickstarter projects as well as for Pebble, 3Doodler, Newegg and many other major brands in the industry.

The problem started when ESG did not informed us about their congestion and various issues that we are only learning now (system breakdown, lack of workers after Chinese New Year, fiber optics breakdown, issues with Chinese customs, warehouse moving etc) until our goods were in their warehouse. 

We have since diverted the rest of our goods to another fulfillment company (https://www.directlink.com) which is shipping out the rewards within 24 hours. Unfortunately we have all the backlog at ESG that we are pushing to clear as soon as possible. We expect to move bulk of the "Ready to Ship" to "Shipped" progressively over the course of this week.

We thank you for your patience and understanding as we work with ESG to clear this backlog.

"Survey Answered" Status

The backers in this group are mostly late backers and we are aiming to ship out this group around mid March 2017.

Not seeing much movement with your shipment tracking? 

For those whose rewards have shipped but are not seeing much movement with the tracking information. We kindly seek your understanding that this is postal mail, not express courier so the tracking information is not constantly updated to the minute. Postal mail moves between different postal companies in different countries so if the mail man is not diligent in scanning the packages, new tracking information is not updated to the system. We have even seen cases when tracking is only updated after the package is delivered. Delivery typically takes place anywhere between 1-3 weeks from time of shipping. If delivery does not happen after 4 weeks from time of shipping, we will initiate insurance claims.

      I have not yet received my hyperdrive and it shipped on 3.22.17. If I check tracking, it shows is "local mail tracking" on April 11th, and it currently shows "In Transit" as of today, 5.10.17. Backer 18973.

      Hi, I am still waiting on my order. Checking tracking page it says Arrival at Destination Post (Country AU) on March 12. Today is March 28th so I am starting to worry that it has got lost in the system. Can you please advise.

      I got mine (well, failed delivery attempt because I was not home and I still have to pick it up from the local post office), but I also got a note that says that I still need to pay 18,97 euros. I am afraid that's the customs and import tax and what not :-(

      I was so happy(er) when @George mentioned that the Dutch backers don't need to worry about the tax / customs... I guess that was too early to be happy.

      Would it be possible to get this customs fee covered by Sanho ?

      Today I got a message from DHL eCommerce that my Hyperdrive has been delivered... Unfortunately neither at my place nor at any of my neighbors anything has been delivered! So what to do? Hyperdrive disappeared....

      Got mine today. Color is great! matches my beautiful space gray MacBook Pro perfectly! Was a bit worried when I found out that it wouldn't work with my clip on case but the way my case is made I can slide that one section of the case down and voila, HypeDrive fits. The section of the case that prevents a flush fit is only about two inches and doesn't actually contain a clip. Thinking I might just snip off those two little inches on the side so I don't have to worry about it anymore. Either way, turned out not to be as big a deal as I thought it'd be. This was my first venture into the world of Kickstarter and I'm glad to say it's had a happy ending. Too bad I can't say the same of my second. Thanks Sanho Corp for a great product!

      In the first place, the HyperDrive does not generate much heat (less than 48ºC / 118ºF) and does not use the aluminum case as a heat sink. From an iCarbons rep: "Our skins hold in less heat than a protective case does and they are plastic based vinyl. Plus we do not cover anything that would cause any kind of trapped heat"

      @HYPER I've received my package, thanks! @Dutch Backers, PostNL will deliver the package through regular mail ('briefpost'). It is has been marked as a gift, so there are no customs fees.

      hi guys,
      great to see that mine is en route (!! yay !!)

      Question about the iCarbon skin: it's all nice and pretty, but how about the heat dissipation if I to apply the decals? I am sure if use the hyperdrive to charge and connect everything else, some heat must have been produced, and experience taught me that applying decals doesn't really help to let the heat escape. Please advise?

      Actually most of the rewards were either shipped or waiting to be shipped. We have about 2000 really late backers that will be the last batch to ship around mid March. You are backer #12871 which originally puts you in the March delivery group but you are now on "Ready to Ship" status which means your reward will go out this week.

      This is really unfortunate! I live in Saudi Arabia and am home in the US to visit family for a week. I planned this purchase as it should have been here before I arrived and the shipping to Saudi was overpriced. Now I won't be able to get my purchase

      I was Backer #1452. I still have not received my drive yet they say they have shipped almost 9,000 drives. When I complained about this on a previous post I all of a sudden got an email that stated my drive had shipped and they sent me a tracking ID. That tracking ID when I checked it online said it was en-route to DHL fro shipping (That was on Feb 28th). When I log in and check today (Mar 7th), it still says en-route to DHL for shipping. This is totally Bogus!!!!
