Brand New Rubric tool from Zombie-Based Learning creator

Hello Zombie-Based Learning Fans,

Because you’re a fan of ZBL, I’m excited to share that I’ve created a new web-based tool for creating standards-based rubrics in about a minute. And it’s totally free. It’s part of our bigger plan to help teachers easily design quality curriculum like ZBL, and this is just the start!

Here’s the link: www.ThemeSpark.net

The official launch of this tool at the EdSurge Tech Summit in Seattle this weekend, but I wanted to give you a sneak peek since you are already familiar with my work. The tool currently has ALL English Language Arts Literacy Common Core Standards, including Reading and Writing for Social Studies. We also have a set of 21st Century Skills you can use for any subject.

Share this with your fellow teachers! Share the rubrics you create with your fellow teachers! Share your feedback with us!

I’ll be adding more standards of all different subjects as well as more features, but this is just the first part of a much bigger project we are working on. We are building a suite of tools to allow teachers to quickly and easily create high quality projects with their own themes, just like Zombie-Based Learning. And I’ll also be speaking about this at ASCD in Houston next year. More to come!

Last Day to Help Fund ZBL Comics!

Hey everyone,

The ZBL graphic novel is on its last day of funding. And it needs your help, and your friends' help to get to the goal. I don't want to say it needs to be brought back from the dead but... it's got a ways to go. Share it with everyone you can, and encourage them to share it as well.
