Update #2
We Did it! Now onto some stretch goals!
Thank you everyone for supporting my project.

---------------------------------------------------------------
Everyone has a story to tell- and here's mine.
I'm a plush artist trying to raise money so that I can create original art plush. I want to be able to share the world my creations by traveling to different trade shows throughout the country. This past few years I've mostly done events around Seattle, WA, and one show out of state. However, with this Kickstarter campaign, I hope to raise enough money so that I can travel to more shows this fall.
What is my goal?
I would love to raise more then my set amount, it'll give me more room to expand. However being realistic, $500 would help with traveling cost.
Where did I get my inspiration from?
The inspirations for these plush monsters came to me during a depressive period in my life. After my first campaign was funded- everything started to become chaotic. But one day while being sucked into the black hole of “Youtube,” I stumble upon a video of the late Alexander McQueen-fall 2009-10 collection title “A Horn of Plenty”. With his intricate designs of models adorning bold stripe pattern outfits and loud over the top makeup- it woken my inspiration. I took a piece of that collection and mixed with my love for Tim Burton's art and the kookiness of Dr. Suess, hence my “Monsters” were created.
Why handmade and not have it manufacturer?
Mass production takes away from the uniqueness of a product like this. As the creations are each unique pieces of art, I believe in keeping them that way. I am proud to say I make them all by hand, and they each contain a small part of me.
These plush are a form of art, created by me through sweat and (happy) tears. As kooky and crazy as they seem, they make great gifts to children and adults. I thank you for viewing my page, and hope that you would pledge to my campaign. Even if you can not, I hope that you would share it among your friends and family.
Thank you,
Sovath.

Rewards:

Risks and challenges
The biggest challenge I see myself facing is staying on top of time management. I will try to post weekly updates and communicate as much as possible. You see, all of my plush are hand made by me. Every single piece is designed, cut, sewn together, stuffed, fluffed, de-linted, packaged, shipped off, by me.
Order of work flow:
1. Cut out all the pieces
2. Sew pieces together
3. Stuffing and quality check
4. Shipping
By pledging, my hopes of showcasing my plush at various conventions will be guaranteed, but not only that, it will always help kick start my career as an artist. You can also help by sharing my campaign with your friends and family.
Thank you very much
