Dear Hover community,

Happy New Year and a huge thank you to everyone who helped us reach our stretch goal of $1M. We've been taking a deep breath, watching some fireworks, reading your comments, and buckling up for more hard work.

Here's what you can expect from us in the next few weeks and months:

  • More updates! We'll continue showcasing more features and capabilities, and give you some of the behind-the-scenes look at getting the product out the door.
  • Survey and add-ons: We'll be sending out the post-campaign survey within the next week where you can update shipping information, choose between black/transparent colors, and order accessories. As a note, we will not be offering additional drones for order through our end-of-campaign survey. If you or somebody you know is interested, Hover 2 Essential, Palm Pilot, and Super User packages are available for pre-order on our website.

      I hopefully to receive the Hover ASAP. It would be great if the drone could come with mic cos, despited the noise, its at least can contribute the emotional to videos.

      Regarding the two distinct plastics in the black and transparent end product:

      Durability /toughness of a plastic is a mix of strength and flexibility, measured respectively as tensile strength and glass transition temperature (its offset with ambient)

      Please make sure that the esthetics of tranlucency aren’t traded off with durability. As translucency is often obtained by “freezing” a chaotic state, this often results in a more brittle compound.
