Hello Kickstarter! Thank you for checking us out. We are really exited about this project and we want you guys to be a part of this awesome new Suspense Drama called House Rules.
Here is a little bit about the story of HOUSE RULES
Five Friends get together for dinner, drinks, and laughs at a luxury estate in the country. The night is perfect... until three Mobsters arrive at the House claiming that one of the Five Friends owe them $3,000,000.00 and they have come to collect. All Five claim that they have no idea what the Mobsters are talking about and do not have that amount of cash. Accepting no excuses, BOMAR, KING, & SWEDE give the Five until morning to pay the Debt or suffer the consequences.
In one night, friends and enemies learn more than they expected about loyalty, honor, trust, morals, and each other as they face life and death circumstances in this claustrophobic drama laced with intense action, suspense and comedy.

Risks and challenges
The risks and challenges that any film production faces are various. Let's name a few:
- Going Over Budget
- Equipment Breakdown
- Weather Complication
- On Set Accident (This Should Never Happen, But unfortunately some productions are careless)
- Actors Gone Missing (Yes, in the LOW BUDGET filmmaking world it happens)
- Running Out of Time
- Earthquakes (If the big one hits)
Unfortunately some of these things can happen during a production; most of them can be avoided with preparation, following safety precautions, being careful with spending, having a great 1st AD to keep set operations running within its time limits, and for Earthquakes... well, shoot outside California... And Chile, and China... in a place that doesn't have Earthquakes.
As independent film producers working entirely with Low Budget films, we have learned how to get projects done with what we have and sometimes less. It's all about relationships and keeping promises. We are confident that with the individuals involved in House Rules and our experiences we should have the film completed in its 20 days of production without a problem, unless there is a big earthquake... Yes, we are shooting in California.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
