Earlier this week, everyone that has the HUNGRY WOLF rewards tier and higher should have received a Kickstarter message from me with your link to download the 2012 ORIGINAL House of Monsters short film.

Again, if you pledged $25 or more, you will receive the two new episodes we are working on right now, AND the original 2012 House of Monsters short film. The film that started it all! You can download the 2012 film now. Do it. Now!

Please check your KICKSTARTER MESSAGES for the link to the download. If you have any problems, please let us know. If you have success, we'd love to hear that, too! ;)

As you saw from our previous update, we have a melting zombie gag. And you know I love insert shots, so we made an oversized zombie for the close up. We want to show off all the gory, oozy detail as his FACE MELTS OFF!!!!!

Couple 'a zombies screwing around.

We took a typical plastic skeleton you might find in any Halloween store, then Warren added a base layer of oil-based red clay to represent the muscles, tissue, etc. On top of that, he adds a layer of green clay, for the skin. The clay is very soft, and when it's hit with a heat gun, it melts very quickly. It took 17 minutes to melt this big guy, but will be sped up to just a few seconds on the screen! Good times!!

We have only 3 scenes left to shoot, and then we are off to post-production. Very close!!! Here's a little teaser clip from episode 2, Frank & The Zombie Girl. Enjoy.

Did I mention that was a teaser! What do you think happens to her? You will find out soon. That's it for now. Please remember the 2012 original short film is available if you want to download it. Thank you again for your patience and support. See you in June!

best,
