March Update: March Madness!
Hi Monster Crew!
Be sure to join us on the social media sites for your monster fix between these monthly updates....
The trees are budding and the birds are singing. Spring is in the air and we are buzzing with excitement. Amazing fact: we launched this Kickstarter campaign exactly one year ago. Time flies.
We have a new Behind the Scenes video for you this month. There is so much cool stuff happening in the Lab set, I just had to make a video to show you.
Big news: We have wrapped the Laboratory set! This was a big set. We are tearing it down as you are reading this and we are setting up The Village. The Village is also a big set, as a ton of complicated stuff happens here. Please keep your fingers crossed.
As you know, we are shooting TWO 6 minute episodes. That's 12 minutes of animation. I am pleased to announce we have shot over 6 minutes of animation - we are over the hump! There is light at the end of the tunnel and we are chugging forward as fast as a stop-motion train can go. Ha!
Here are some photos from the lab shoot, we are really pleased how it turned out. The lighting, the colors, are all pretty true to the original concept.
Puppet Casualty: Dr. Gaulstone suffered a broken arm. He's been repaired and is good as new.
The goal is to shoot the Village in March, the Meadow in the first part of April and jump into post-production.
I know we have several filmmakers reading this, and I wanted to reach out to all of you - If anyone has any first hand experience with VHX or Distribber, please contact me, as I have a few questions and would greatly appreciate your insight. Thanks.
If you have any questions, concerns, or conundrums, please send me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org
I wish you all a delightful spring, I know you east-coasters have had a rough winter and are more than ready for a little sunshine. Until then, here's a little laboratory. Cheers!

See you back here in April. We're almost there! Thank you for your support.
