Saw the kickstarter postcards on facebook, so I guess they are still working on it and hopefully we get it this year!
I hope they did not forget about the kickstarter backers, seems it would be easy to post a small update here or answer an email.
While the project is years behind the initial estimated completion date and there have been no updates here for nearly a year the project isn't dead, they have recently been posting updates a few other places so it is still being worked on. The place they seem most active is their twitter so if you want to check up on the game that would be the place to look.

Has this project tanked? Been no news on this for a looooooooong time.
I don't think we're getting any refunds as usual from Kickstarter projects (bust or not). If anything, this will warn me against supporting this group again. I get that they may be busy, but just a quick update every month or so would have been plenty to spare me from questioning and/or giving up on them.
So I am assuming this project is a BUST? No one has replied to the contact me link or updated in months.

UPDATE!! No word since May, what is going on with the project??
In the latest update (May 30): "We are on track to have a fully functioning beta by late June, and then hopefully a speedy turnaround to launch after that."
I take it the fully functioning beta is not ready yet. How about giving us an updated timeline?

Wow, I just played Endless Migration from scratch and I already have 28 out of 29 achievements! What's really funny is the fact that the achievement I'm missing is the one for playing the game 20 times. I feel special. I have a request: Could you put in an option for using achievements that are ridiculously overkill? I'm asking this because I just got 1,000,000 million points within 50 seconds. Man... I need a life. Wait, that saying has no meaning, because if you say it that means that you are alive, therefore meaning that you have a life! THE MORE YOU KNOW.
The track sounds great. It made me think about China and Japan. Mostly before the industrial revolution. You know what I'm talking about, right? The fancy homes and such. I forgot the name of those structures. Anyway, do you think you could add a Winter Mode? Or at least, add the option to make the background a frozen tundra in some sort of Infinity mode. Now that I think about it, is the main part of the game going to have an ending? I'm really curious now. If there are going to be several different modes, could one of them be like the main mode, but infinitely looping? Also, I hope that the development of the game isn't too strenuous. Finally, could you keep us a bit more updated on the other games that are being developed on the side (*cough* Get Off My Lawn)? Many thanks!
That track is pretty epic. Seems too heavy for a typical level. Could work for a big intro animatic or post boss battle. Or if the the final round lasted as long as that track.
Is there any update?
We're pushing the release to 2013. We know people are waiting for this game, and we know it stinks to be so far beyond our projected timeframe. Right now, we are trying to get the backer-generated content sured up and implemented for a rapid phase of testing and revising. More to come in an update very soon! Thanks again and hang in there.

This is great! I thought that this game was only a little bit bigger than your other games, I had no idea that it was actually going to be a huge (or, at least, time-consuming) project. I think it'll be worth the wait. I don't think I've actually played Endless Migration in a while... Well, I'd better get started on training myself for Super Endless Migration by playing the original! :D

I was absolutely in love with the flash demo. I pledged to get in on iOS, thought I'm not sure how well I'll be able to play it on my iPhone (I have pretty fat fingers). However, consider my support a request for the game on either PS3 or XBOX360. Either way, love this game!
Not only do I really want to see this game made for the thrilling gameplay, or perhaps I am drawn to the nostalgia for a home a haven't had in years, but I truly look forward to seeing what the success of this project may allow this creative bunch to do in the future. Revolutionizing video games to enrich our lives with culture, beauty, and truth seems to be well within reach for this crew... A return to the basics of life while embracing if not enhancing the modern lifestyle.
Just finished the script and it is 100% amazing! I think for the prehistoric stage, there should be one or two types of special birds that you get to keep throughout the rest of the game. Another idea: in addition to the birds, some of the planes should also go through the vortexes and interact with other time periods. Keep up the good work; can't wait!

Thanks so much for delving so deeply into the gameplay, and we wanted to let you know that this sort of early discussion can only make the final game better and more balanced. The demo is a quick taste of the final game, and we attempted to provide a challenging experience in a condensed session of play. The final game, however, will have over a half dozen unique environments, and we plan to choreograph a truly cinematic narrative, fluctuating between moments of harrowing, suspenseful difficulty and restful lulls, where players can gather themselves, absorb the scenery, and ready for the next rabbit hole of adventure.
I'm not sure how to reply to people's comments, or if you even can, so I'm posting this as a new comment. I'm torn about this game, unfortunately. Partially I have to agree with David (the previous poster) that the original game had a beautiful flow to it, but I also love the demo I played and I think the new obstacles are quite creative. I even had a suggestion of my own that I'm surprised hasn't been considered: Hunters (or Poachers). Hunters along the migratory path of Geese and other fowl shoot probably thousands of birds a year, though I don't have any actual hard facts to quote. On the other hand, even the original game gets incredibly hectic around two minutes in, I STILL can't manage to get that three minute achievement. I keep dying at almost exactly two and a half minutes in. My point is, even the original game at a certain point because less about the beauty of birds and more about twitch reflexes. Almost every time I play, I get disappointed at myself that I'm rationalizing the fact that half my flock died by saying "Well, at least I maneuvered the leader out of the way of that stupid helicopter." The entire concept of this game is actually rather depressing, and I think that you can lose that message too easily, forgetting that these things are actually happening in REAL LIFE, that these birds ARE making this harrowing trip thousands of miles, and many ARE dying in the process. Now I'm not a huge eco-nut, and I realize most hunters are eating the birds and so it's not as bad, but it's still depressing to think about. I think you all are going to have a VERY difficult time balancing fun engaging gameplay with that message about the geese and other birds. Unfortunately, I have no helpful solutions, so I feel bad about bringing it up, but I really think this is an issue that needs to be addressed.
One counter-point. I loved the original and I've played the demo of 2. I worry that the guns, bombs, gas clouds, various birds, etc distract from the beauty of the original game, which was that it was a very straightforward game with a lot of flow. There seems to be a risk that 2 will be basically a vertical shooter without guns. It gets stressful and complicated, and less fun to play.
Compare that to the original, which had some of the feel of Ferry Halim's Orisinal games where the flow and grace make the game fun and relaxing. Those games aren't for everyone, but they are for a lot of people.
In other words, don't add levels and complexity just because you can. The original game was beautiful and successful in part because it wasn't too complex.
