Ascending Apocalypse

Game type: Survival MMO

Game Description: Ascending Apocalypse Is a Survival MMO that takes place in the year 2015 after nuclear warfare has taken place, Because of the nuclear warfare Government's have lost their control and the World has gone into Anarchy. As a player, you will explore the map and come across stores, factories and military bases where you will search for items to survive. Since there was a nuclear war, every zone you are in has a little bit of radiation, over time you will progressively get sicker from this radiation forcing you to search for medicine to keep your self alive. You can make friends and you can make enemies any thing to keep your self alive.

Most games out right now attract people by graphics and little game play. Our game will focus mainly on game play, reason being Many survival games out have endgame within a day. We expect a survival game to take at least 2 weeks to get to endgame. The reason our main focus isn't graphics is because we experienced a game called "Rust" back when it was in browser. Many people who played this didn't even care that the graphics were not the best, The game play was what really mattered to them. Later on "Rust" became a steam game official servers were great, No lag, No complaints everything was fine Until they did a "reboot". They remade the whole game and made graphics 300% better, but causing the game to be unplayable and laggy. We don't want that to our game. So we will focus on  game play over graphics, which rust seemed to fail at.

We will be using Unity 5 to develop this project

Risks and challenges

One of our main challenge's are the fact that this will be our first game. We plan on doing our best to make the game what we hope it to be but also let the community make votes to add different aspects of the game or remove them through polls that we will provide.

Another Challenge we will have is getting known. We are a new group of people trying to release a game no one know's about yet. Hopefully this kickstarter help's us get known a little more

Our Final Challenge would be our release date. If we don't raise enough money we may have to force the release date to a later date. We want to release the game as soon as possible but money is a issue as we want to hire the best Game development team.
