The savings are astronomical. People consider 3D printing to have a high entry price but honestly it’s more of an investment. It costs us 8p in material and electricity to 3D print 8 dungeon barrels. In a store that would cost anywhere from £5-7.
This all depends on what you’re printing and the % of infill you use. For example, we run our dungeon barrel at 10% infill and it costs 0.08p in material and electricity to print whereas our grand chest is ran at 15% and costs around 15p.
Sadly the answer to this is no. We sell the .STL files that are designed to run on 3D Printers. We do however provide in-depth instruction manuals making 3D printing our products much easier as we’ve done the testing for you!
Somewhat, the tavern has been broken down into multiple small pieces so they can be 3D printed on any bed size but as we wanted our building to have an original art style it’s not ‘modular’ in the sense you can make multiple building designs out of the pieces.
Yes! As we can’t offer the stretch goals unlock for all of our backers we wanted to at-least reward them with something. If we manage to unlock the 100K funding goal then anyone who has backed our Kickstarter will be receiving those two STL files for free!
If you only want the add-ons and none of the core you can use the $1 pledge to get them. If you are after a specific add-on or set of add-ons you need to calculate the cost of those add-ons and add them to your base pledge. We have more information of this on our add-ons section of our Kickstarter page.
