Hi there, Hoap here. for those of you who are unfamiliar with me, welcome, thanks for stopping by and taking a second to check out our project. I say our project because (as the title will tell you) this is round two of my Tubble Pin Pals Kickstarter project, and this here is a celebration of all those who helped me the first time around. I am so excited to be back creating Tubbles; little chubby cuties that I truly love making.
This right here is Cheer Bear, our first goal to reach! This bear is just too dang cute to not be out in the front of the pack. What do we need to do to get there? Simple, raise $200 in pledges, and then we can move on to all the fun and exciting designs I have lined up. Once the first goal is reached every $200 we raise will unlock a new "LOCKED" design (excluding the last stretch goal listed, that one is seriously special and will require a bit more be raised to bring it to life, but oh goodness do I have my fingers crossed that we get there). Each hard enamel pin will be roughly 1.5" tall, and I will have some with gold, some with black, some with silver, and some with my favorite, rose gold plating.
I have so many special little extras that I have already been working on and producing, and some of it will go out to the early supporters only so get in there with your pledge early to make sure you don't miss out!
Stickers, buttons, postcards, and originals to every person who pledges at the 3 pin level and above say what?!? Yep, when I first reached out to you all to make my little dream of turning my art into a wearable little pin I sent out a custom Tubble Pal illustration with everyone who pledged at a certain level, and even though it may kill me (that would be a good problem believe me) I want to do that all over again. I've been so lucky over the past three years to have your support, and this is one of the ways I plan to say thank you.
I created a lot of new designs this time around, but I wanted to make sure to really pay tribute to the first project by bringing back a few of the designs we created then. They are revamped, reworked, and revitalized I hope you love them even more this time around.
To everybody that's been here with me from the get, thank you for keeping up with me, and following my journey. This project is dedicated to you all, I would not be doing this without you. You all helped me create my first enamel pins over three years ago, and it is high time we bring some more Tubble Pin Pals to life.
I have many stretch goals in store, and many designs to pick from once we reach our first goal. Keeping that in mind, if you see a design you are excited about that is not yet unlocked, pledge anyway, you can always cancel your pledge if your favorite does not get unlocked. The more people who pledge the more designs will be unlocked and the more awesome pins we will be able to create.
Pretty accurate representation of how I see myself.
I love this because Sabrina is straight up magic, bam!
$800 & $1000
Rainbow the Unitubble and The Mad Cat, two out of three of the original designs from my first kickstarter. Reworked and updated to be even better than they were first time round.
$1200 & $1400
Jack returns bigger and better than ever, and he brought along his lady love.
$1600 & $1800
The perfect combination of creepy and cute all rolled in to two chubby little spirits!
$2000 & $2200
Lydia and the B-man! Need I say more?
This remains one of the best Drawlloween pieces I ever created, and clearly it would make a magical pin.
Orange Cream reminds me of all my favorite sherbets, like orange creamcicle meets pink lemonade. The Unitubble will always be my first pin love!
Stand up for what you believe in, I just cannot say enough about the impact the films of Ghibli have had on me, this is a tribute to one of the strongest characters I have ever seen.
I love This wacky little bunny so much, Oswald does not get the love he deserves.
This is my "there is no way we make it to here, but I wanna reach for the stars anyway" stretch goal. This pin will end up having to be at least 3" tall, and will be the biggest, most intricate pin I have or probably ever will make.
I have so much more in store, so many things I want to create so I can add them as freebies to your rewards, and with your help they could all be possible!
*if you want to add other rewards aside from your selected tier, such as a postcard with a doodle from Aria and I then just add the appropriate amount to your pledge. Make sure to message me and let me know what you were adding the extra funds for.

A Little Kickstarter Rundown
So now that we have our goals set lets talk turkey. Why Kickstarter, and how will this all work.
I like the idea of us all being involved in making something, it is collaborative, and helps keep things fresh. I also enjoy the all or nothing approach this platform has. If we don't hit our goal, small though it may be, we do not get the funds, and you are not charged.
Through funding each of these pins here, I know that I can make the best product possible, and the more funds raised, the more stuff we can add. I have still yet to release a pin with glitter, and I would love to do that, something that would be made possible through direct funding like this.
Most of the funds will go to get the pins made, like a staggering amount 70% or more depending on how the final pins work out, the rest of the funds will be used to create backing cards, buy shipping material (every reward will come in a thick bubble mailer, bigger rewards will need to ship in a box) around 20%, paying Kickstarter fees 10%, anything at all left over will go towards making even more rewards and extra goodies!
You will not be charged until the day our project's campaign ends, and only if we reach our goal. You can cancel your pledge at any time.
May 16th to June 9th - Kickstarter campaign time! We have 25 days to raise these funds.
Once the project is over and fully funded surveys to get everything in order for shipping and such will be sent out.
Please please please make sure you have your address entered correctly, this will help make sure your rewards arrive in a timely manner, and due to the nature of some of the items they will not be able to be replaced.
June 9th to June 25th - Funds (minus fees and so on) will transfer somewhere in this stretch to me so things can get goin!
Late June - Pin production begins.
Early to Mid July - Pins and all other rewards will ship out.*As the project progresses I will continue to update the time frames of each step of the process.
Risks and challenges
Risks can include the following, but I hand check every single pin I get in to make sure only top quality items ship out to those who back our project.
Pin production times can vary, this could add a bit of time to the final product reaching supporters. I will keep everyone posted on the progress of production and make sure everyone is informed if there is any delay.
Pins are hand filled and this can lead to some imperfections. This means that there is a small possibility that pins would have to be remade, but this is not very likely. Again, I hand-inspect every pin to assure only top quality pins get sent out.
All designs are mockups and are therefore subject to minor changes, slight color variations, and the occasional tweak to design detail, but these are kept to a minimum and the design you see will be very close to the final product.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
