Introducing the High Ball!
The High Ball is for everyone, but if you're high it's really for you! But not every high, or every high person, is the same. That's why the High Ball offers two distinct experiences: a competitive party game High Mode and well...a different kind of thing... Really High Mode
Two Modes = Two Buttons
As you can see, there are two distinct vibes neatly represented by the buttons for each mode. The little guy on the left is the High button while the other is the Really High button.
What do these buttons mean? Read on and you shall see!
The rules are easy to remember (we figured they should be under the circumstances), but don't let that fool you, the game is anything but easy.
You find and move the red side to the top as fast as possible. Each time you do this you have less time. The colors will then scramble and you have to find the red side and move it to the top again. You'll have to do this with red 20 times, but don't get too comfortable.
From here it gets trickier! Not only does your window of time for success get progressively smaller, but as you move through through the subsequent rounds the colors will be harder to tell apart. Red and green you shouldn't have too much trouble with, but what about purple and blue?!
If you made it through round 1, the ball will solidly light up green. You must now move the green side colored side to the top.
There are 8 levels in all, but make it past the first couple rounds and you'll find yourself up for a real challenge!

So at some point you're going to lose... unless you get like really really good I suppose ... but in the meantime the ball has a nifty way of letting you know how good you are! Below you can see how this works. A score of 23 is indicated by the ball flashing slowly twice (20), pausing, then flashing three times (3) more quickly.
There's no picture of this, you have to earn it! But the ball always remembers the high score, and there's a snazzy way it lets you know if you've done better than anyone before you. With a new ball, you'll be setting high scores left and right, but get some practice and it'll be a rarer and sweeter accomplishment.
Chillin' Like a Villain
Now this part is really special. If you're feeling really truly high...then this is the button for you. You might get to a place where you have trouble staying focused the game, but that doesn't mean you have to put the High Ball down.
There are four different "patterns," each with its own original music. Watch and see what we mean!
If you don't quite get it ... light a joint or whatever and try it out ... we promise you'll get it.
If you want to spend some quality time with just one of these patterns, or if there's one whose vibe doesn't work for you right now, the solutions are simple! Double click the Really High button (pictured above!) to skip past a pattern you're done with, and hold it down to lock the ball on a pattern of your choice.
Each of the Really High mode patterns is accompanied by an original track!
These tracks are ten second loops, which play along to the pattern and musically compliment what you're seeing and doing. Check out and download the tracks below!
What's in the Box
- 1 High Ball - Made of twelve pentagonal panels that have individual LED lights. The small accelerometer chip inside detects the movements.
- 1 Micro USB Charging Cable - The ball charges with a standard micro USB cable. On a full charge, it can last for more than two hours of continuous use.
- 1 Custom Stand - Keep your High Ball safely stowed away on its stand (it's a ball after all so you don't want it rolling away) or enjoy Really High mode hands free!

Risks and challenges
The biggest challenge for us is just not having any good way to know how big the market for the High Ball is. We love it, but the electronic stoner toy market doesn't really exist yet, so it's impossible to know how many of you there are out there. This is where Kickstarter really comes in for us. We'll know how many people want a High Ball before we have to figure out how many to make. This way we avoid delays that could be caused by a larger volume of orders than we'd anticipated.
And of course there's always the risk that someone gets too high and orders more High Balls than we can handle. But there's worse problems to have so we're positive if you back us, you'll get your ball this Fall.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
