You probably have a few art instruction books in your collection and I bet you found some more useful than others. Some books talk at great length about art and can be quite interesting. Other books show the author creating amazing illustrations but don’t always give you the information you need to achieve similar results. The most helpful art instruction books don’t merely talk about art, or show you art, they teach you how to create something you could not have achieved before owning the book. Hi-Fi Color for Comics provides you with step-by-step tutorials and artwork teaching you how to color comic book illustrations from start to finish.

Risks and challenges
Fulfillment will be handled by shipping backers all items in one package when possible to reduce shipping time and expense. This means rewards like mini-prints will ship with the completed book, not before.
The authors and editor have previously completed several art instruction books and are ready to complete the the new Hi-Fi Color for Comics, have the books printed, and ship them to backers.
Working full time in the comic book industry the challenge we face is always one of time and deadlines. Any project that involves multiple writers, artist, designers, etc. can run into deadline issues. If all stretch goals are reached the book will double in size which may require additional time for design, printing, and shipping.
If any delay or setback arises all backers affected will be notified via Kickstarter update and advised of any change in the delivery timeline. Our goal is to complete the book, have it printed, and delivered to all backers in a timely manner.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
