Who We Are/What We Do
HexComix is a Los Angeles-based comic book label. We are proud to be a 100% independent operation, changing the world through creative ideas and compelling characters. Nominees of the Dwayne McDuffie Award for Diversity, HexComix is devoted to showcasing non-traditional voices and telling unique stories. We are currently dedicated to our premiere title, Hex11, an ongoing sci-fi fantasy series created and illustrated by Lisa K. Weber, written by Kelly Sue Milano, and produced/edited by Lynly Forrest.
Hex11 is the epic story of a future where magic has been discovered as a new technology. Elanor, a young witch-in-training, navigates the urban underworld known as the Hex; facing corporate conspiracies, demon mercenaries, black market magic dealers, and extra-dimensional body snatchers, all while trying to complete her apprenticeship to an eccentric oracle named Vera.
Now wrapping up its second arc, Hex11 continues to be a fan favorite with readers across the world.

• Print a large quantity (min. 1000) of the Volume Two Trade of Hex11, which is issues #7-12 bound together.
Thanks to a successful Kickstarter for Volume One, we were able to print and sell 1000 books at conventions and through our webstore, allowing us to produce and distribute each issue of Volume Two, and send Volume One into its second printing! Yessss!
Now Volume Two is ready for its first printing, and that's where you come in, dear backer. By supporting this project, you will not only help us to fund the distribution and continuation of Hex11, but the growth of HexComix as a label.
Risks and challenges
We have spent the last two years in production of the individual issues of Volume Two. With issues #7-#11 out currently, and issue #12 scheduled for release by the end of the year, this collected Volume will be print-ready in January.
We work with a US-based printer who has printed all of our single issues as well as Volume One. They deliver high-quality books reliably and without delay, barring natural disasters (and even those don't slow them down too much).
All this being said, production delays are a possibility in any publishing venture, independent or otherwise, but we will always be transparent about them.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
