Further to this I'd actually like to see the rotor sections blend more with the rest of the wing for the reasons of "realism" that I set out below. At the end of the day though what looks right to some will look wrong to others so I guess it's best to leave these things to the "rule of cool".
@kayuna2000 - this is one of those difficult decisions. A "real" stealth VTOL would have as little detail as possible because each of those details is a radar hotspot. A "realistic model" of a stealth VTOL might have extra detail to make it more obvious what the scale and function of the vehicle is. I agree that this model looks a bit plain but that's actually realistic. Tough call.
Hello. I am using Guglu translation.
It is good that the jackal has a pose on the foot. I hope that other models will also have a good looking pose like a metal foot.
I want some decoration on rotor cowl and top armor in this VTOL. It's a maintenance hatch, a small hole, a double step, and so on.
I like small decorations like macross.
That's really nice to hear! I'll definitely be following up on that. Would it be safe to assume I could inquire about other existing kits as well?
@ Tom. We can easily make the Black Wind all in resin because we only planned to make the gun part in pewter, everything else will be in resin which already has the expected resin casting time factored in to the cost. For the Jackal it can't be done in resin at the same cost as the casting time for resin is the biggest cost in making the resin kits. I would have to find out the exact casting time to figure out the cost, which we'll only know later this year when we start doing the first orders for the DP9 Online Store sales. If you want email me directly at email@example.com and we can look at the cost when it get closer to being released.
Is it possible to order these in resin only? I stopped buying metal a long time ago, and before the kickstarter I stopped buying from you entirely once you converted your resin only kits over to resin and metal several years ago.
