@Vegabond. Reason for their only one ECM counter on the paper game tokens sheet is that it has the exact same contents that are included in one of the acrylic status tokens sets and one of the acrylic commander tokens sets.

on the token sheet, why not move ECM over and add a second one?

I never had a doubt that this kickstarter would be delayed as the posted shipping estimate seemed way too optimistic. I remember reading it and thinking to myself "aw, Dreampod, that's so cute!". ;)

Plastic tooling takes time (even if it's not done in China) and running into unexpected delays should be expected. Take your time, do it right and keep us updated. I'm busy with all the other games and miniautes anyway at the moment.

Kickstarter... learning curve... unexpected issues and delays... no surprise. Keep plugging away. I hope the delays aren't messing up your cashflow too badly.

Got to admit, I don't love hearing about the delay or that details are having to change even further about these sculpts. I'll hold off worrying until I get them and can see them in person, but I am going to leave that open as an option down the line.

Thank you for the update. I would rather you catch it now than after you started producing and found it wouldn't work. I appreciate the attention to detail

That's too bad, I was looking forward to getting this in time for my birthday. Oh well, I'd rather you send me nice minis than busted ones. Looking forward to it.

Now this is how you do an update to announce a delay. Thank you for your honesty. As a spurned Robotech backer, reading an update like this, even if it's about a delay, is refreshing. Keep up the good work!

Thanks for the update - its re-assuring to hear the detail. Also, your decision to manufacture locally rather than in China gives a huge amount of re-assurance about the quality of the final product anyway - and means issues like this are caught and fixed quicker and better.

Q1'16 will do just fine. Just get the mini's right!

      Thanks for the heads up.
I've been to too many KS were they make the mistake of not explaining delays. You did the right thing - silence is far more damaging.

No problem on the delay from me these things happen especially when you give yourselves a timeline that's tight. At least you all have been open and honest with the backers from the get go compared to alot of Kickstarters. I think 3/4 of the ones I backed lack in communication with no updates either or even an explanation. Keep up the good work and sure it'll be as good detail as the past if not better.

Take your time : quality product is what we (as player) & you (as a game provider) want! Don't rush anything here : those molds are the base for an all new era of plastic models (and more players will come accordingly)... it's not the time to rush anything.

No problem Pod, its huge new frontier for you guys I am sure. In all honesty I was getting worried about how I was going to afford the extra cash outlay to buff my CEF. Now I can spread those buys and the anticipation out over a few months. Stay strong and we will wait for you

No problems here, fingers (& servos) crossed that it can be completed before the Chinese New Year, looking forward to them even more with all the work going on to make sure they are right

Can we get a more "finalized" rulebook before the end of the year, so those of us (the vast majority I'd assume honestly) can really get to work playing the game as you intend it to be played?

Thanks for the update. Personally, I'm glad you caught it now and are able to resolve prior to having the molds made and product cast only to have to go back for a do-over.

For the amount of models we are getting and how up front you have been the entire time, this doesn't bother me at all. I'd rather you guys get it 96% right.

    22. Alex Clarke on

Meh, delays suck but at least we dont have 2 months of transit time from china to account for. As long as the quality is good i can live with 2016 delivery.
