The campaign is over, but the quest for stretch goals continues on our website!
It is the year 1187 when a famous fight, the Battle of Hattin, takes place. It's the Crusader Kingdom of Jerusalem versus the Ayyubid forces and all is in favour of the latter. The Ayyubid forces now outnumber the enemy troops having slaughtered the majority of them. The heat of battle is still raging when a loud, thunderous roar is heard throughout the Horns of Hattin - a sound deafening enough to startle and momentarily freeze thousands of blood-thirsty soldiers. No one had ever heard something of such great volume. This was the kind of event only depicted in the ancient scrolls. A few seconds later, a gigantic fire-breathing dragon was seen soaring over one of the massive hills in the distance. Once every being got their senses together, they began to desparately flee the Horns of Hattin in the hope of escaping. Hundreds of soldiers all around are being burnt to a crisp by the dragon's lethal breath.
James, a Templar knight belonging to the Ayyubid forces, is one of thousands of the warriors retreating from the battle. He suddenly trips over due to the masses of frantic people running for their lives. He attempts to stand so that he can continue to flee. However, as James looks up from the ground, he sees a man in a strange leather coat looking down on him who stops him from running. The peculiar stranger then instructs James to grab on to him with all his might, which James does without questioning. The stranger pulls a strange contraption from his pocket and presses a red button attached to the device. In a matter of milliseconds, James blacks out.
From this moment on, overcoming sacrifices, almost invincible foes and seemingly endless time loops, it is James' destiny to save time as we know it from the Dark Atomos.
A Matter of Time is a classic style RPG for Windows and Mac.
A demo for A Matter of Time will be released shortly after the Kickstarter goal is reached.
Early on in James' quest, he will acquire a blue Paradox Cape. This cape has an abundance of unique features such as the ones listed below.
- The Paradox Cape can be used as a melee weapon to slash at enemies.
- A perk can be unlocked which allows James to hypnotise enemies below his level using the Paradox Cape.
Shortly after he receives his Paradox Cape, James will also acquire a green light-blade which can be upgraded to be very powerful.
The Dark Atomos are menaces in the universe, and are also the game's main enemy. They are very elusive and their members aren't usually seen by anyone. However, they are most famous for when they explicitly attempted to attack the Templar-controlled city of Galuntea using dragons. Luckily, the Dark Atomos were defended against and haven't been seen since... until recently.
Many beautiful pieces have been composed especially for 'A Matter of Time' which will become purchasable! Here is a preview of one of the songs.

Risks and challenges
There are some risks in creating this game such as the ones listed below:
*I might not reach the funding goal. However, it's up to you guys and I trust that you guys will help us reach that.
*I have minimal skill in Graphic Design which means that I must rely on others to create graphics for the game, however with this project's funding this should not be too much of a problem.
*I am still a student which means that I will not always have time to code as it is not my full time job and I still need to focus on schoolwork, however if I take some study halls to the face and spend every spare hour I have on coding this, the project should easily be finished by Winter 2019.
*You guys may not like the finished product, and if you don't, then that is OK. Everyone has their own opinions, but I will try my best to create the game so that lots of people will love it.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
