Hello. My name is Jason, and I'm a designer. More importantly, I'm a passionate wine connoisseur. The intention of this print is to methodically record the primary varieties of red and white wine, telling the full story - from grape to glass. I enjoy traveling and tasting what different regions bring to the world, so I wanted to acknowledge this with a special Wine Diagram.
This collection illustrates the seventeen most common varieties of wine. Each type of wine is specific to certain regions of the world, which are all highlighted in the print. In addition, we've recognized nearly 150 of the most outstanding examples of specific wines found in each region. Just like the Beer Diagram, the most common glassware for each wine is also included.
As some of you know, this is the third part to the growing Diagram series. The series originally started almost two years ago, with the Beer Diagram. Then about a year later the Whiskey Diagram was released. And now, it's time for the Wine Diagram. I really believe I've saved the best for last. This print is by far the most complex of the bunch. It's taken my wife and I months to add and edit the various wine attributes. We've experimented with several organization strategies including taste, region, color and many more wine qualities. I've found this version to be the most complete and clear collection of wines. I'm not going to lie, some of the "minor categories" didn't make the cut. But, with all the blends and varieties the list is seemingly infinite. This diagram includes a meaningful culmination of the most recognized wine varieties from around the world.

Risks and challenges
I've completed several successful projects on Kickstarter. With each project comes unique challenges. After over 10 projects, most of the gaps have been filled in. We now have great relationships with systems in place to ensure a smooth project. I will be sure to watch for feedback during the project to catch anything that might present an issue. It's always exciting launching a project on Kickstarter - there's no better way to collaborate with thousands of people to create something great. I'm confident that this project will be one of the best yet.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
