About this project
Like the project? Splendid, there's more at BeerDiagram.com
My name is Jason, and I'm a graphic designer. This project was created to educate the masses about the countless varieties of one of the world's most popular beverages, beer. This flow chart poster thoroughly dissects the intricate body of beers. Each style of beer has it's own unique story. My intention is to share these stories in a carefully organized "family tree".
This collection recognizes the 16 distinct types of beer, explains their origin and then breaks down even further into nearly 40 more subcategories. Each of the final beer-types is then marked with 3 examples of that beer, as well as an icon depicting the type of glass that the beer is typically served in.

Risks and challenges
As with any successful project here on Kickstarter, the main challenge is often keeping up with the demand. I learned a lot about the entire production process during one of my last Kickstarter projects, CityPrints. At this point, I'm pretty confident that I will be able to keep up with the demand while getting everything shipped out on time.
In addition, I've learned a lot about the best way to ship these posters to be sure they arrive in perfect condition. Each project will undoubtedly bring it's own unique challenges. I look forward to working through whatever I run into along the way. It's all a part of the process and if nothing else makes the story a bit more interesting.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
Great, just add the cost of the extra print(s) to the total pledge amount. For example, if you want two standard-sized posters (domestic), you would pledge $38 total ($19 + $19). The international shipping is a flat rate, so there's no need to add more for shipping.
These prints will be carefully rolled and shipped in a heavy-weight cardboard tube.
