Still interested in the American Sitcom Poster - Come see more at cratestyle.com
Hello, I'm Jason Haynes, and I'm a graphic designer. Not unlike many children I grew up watching a great deal of TV. I find it amazing how many shows I can look back on and share memories or quotes with other people. It's seems to be one language we all speak.
The focus of this project is to recognize one of the most influential genres of TV - the Sitcom. These date back to 1949, and are still quite prevalent throughout our programming today. When Sitcoms began, they were broadcast among three main networks (ABC, NBC & CBS). Much later, FOX began broadcasting it's own roster of Sitcoms - all of which are included in this print. In addition to the list of show names, I've included the years they were broadcast as well as a color-coded network scheme. Everything is arranged in chronological order, so that one can best understand the progression of the complex timeline of entertainment.
Standard Size Print: 13" X 19" (330mm X 482mm) Specification: Printed on 44lb Premium Matte Finish Paper. Signed & Numbered. These prints will all be full color bleeds. (without border)
Technology: I will be creating these one-by-one using a professional giclée process. This is the same printing process used by the finest art galleries around the world. I will be using high-quality dye-based ink from Germany. This allows us to produce truly authentic museum quality prints.
Risks and challenges
As with any project on Kickstarter, there are challenges. I've completed a number of successful projects on Kickstarter, and I'm confident that this project will be no exception. I've spent a lot of time researching the best methods of production, packaging and shipping. I expect to have these posters produced and ready to ship only weeks after the completion of the Kickstarter campaign.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
